I currently have a F7 2 year old version in my truck I drive 25000 km on average per year all local so I’m in truck quite a bit I love this deck the only issue I have is with dimmer option in truck when I dim lights the deck lights don’t dim much than will dim so that I can barely see lights at all so I disconnected that wire and it’s been perfect now I’m going to purchase F8 for my car it should be the same quality and sound just a upgrade in picture

Installation was easy, they provide any and all cables and adapters needed for most cars. Very detailed instructions help as well. Easily set up wired or wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, and auto-connects to last phone when you start the car. The screen quality is excellent and more than bright enough for bright day use. Volume changing option works fine, and sound quality is very good. With a dash frame adapter, this unit looks great in my car.

It effectively replaced the original stereo head unit, offering a satisfactory level of quality.One of the key strengths of this head unit is its compatibility with the car's existing sound system and reverse camera, which integrates seamlessly. The Android-based operating system is a notable feature, allowing for extensive customization and the installation of various apps. On top of usual navigation and multimedia apps, I also utilized an app to connect a Bluetooth OBD II scan tool, enabling real-time engine status monitoring without any issues. Additionally, the system supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, providing the convenience of using smartphone apps and navigation directly on the head unit.The touchscreen functionality meets expectations, offering reliable performance. While the screen resolution could be higher, it is acceptable given the unit's reasonable price and compact 7-inch size.Installation requires harness wiring, which may pose a challenge for those without prior experience. The process involves numerous connections for different modules and devices, depending on the vehicle model. However, it is manageable for experienced installers.The head unit comes with 32GB of storage, which is adequate but not very generous, somewhat limiting for installing multiple apps. I wish it offers 64 GB instead. The 4GB of RAM ensures smooth system operation.One drawback is the head unit's 4G SIM card support. The system does not immediately recognize data transferred from cellular signal upon startup, often taking several minutes to begin receiving data. This delay can be inconvenient, especially when I am relying on navigation apps installed on the unit. This is one of the main reasons I still preferred to use navigation apps via Android Auto from my own smartphone.Overall, this ATOTO S8 head unit offers a powerful and customizable infotainment system with several valuable features, despite some minor limitations in storage and cellular connectivity.

Can work installed as it comes in box, but it won't be pretty. I had to order a wiring harness and faceplate for my truck to make it look nice. It does not come with any cameras, but there is connections for front and rear facing cameras. It has all the features you'd expect from a hud - with a stereo built in. It is complicated to install, but there are a ton of online resources if you want to do it yourself. Tested it hooked up to battery, screen is responsive, connects to phone, and it has more features than I'll need. It is not however plug and play and each model of car will need it's own mount/wiring harness. I'm pleased with what it does.
