This Stereo Touchscreen is a Spec Powerhouse

Upon installing this stereo, the first thing I noticed was its significantly improved speed and responsiveness compared to my old unit. I particularly like the automatic camera switch feature when shifting from reverse to drive – it adds to the overall convenience.The Time Correction feature in the EQ settings genuinely enhances the immersive sound experience. My speakers also sound noticeably better with this stereo. I look forward to exploring the additional features, such as the option to add an OBD reader tool and tire pressure sensors in the future.The only drawback for me was needing to purchase a different version of the steering wheel remote (unlike my previous ATOTO unit), but the option to program custom keys for built-in steering wheel remotes makes up for it. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied with this stereo.

So far all other tests look good, and I am preparing to wire this into my vehicle.I will update this review once it is installed.This in dash entertainment centre is good value for money and I recommend this product.

this was a great replacement for the old stereo system in my car. it fit well and works like a charm. this is perfect to use to update those older cars that still have life left in them but don't have any of the newer features that you would want in a car.

The quality is good

Top, fits perfectly into the existing frame, easy to install (are indeed many cables, behind the radio is in the Tacoma a lot of space for all the stuff, plug'n play only plug into existing connectors). You can do without drilling, USB cable and Wlan antenna go easily over existing openings in the glove box, GPS receiver fits directly between air vents and radio itself.Hands-free calling works, the microphone goes easily to the dashboard also without drilling.You can use all apps from Android, Spotify, Deezer, here Maps all work offline very well.Meaningful I still find tools to darken the screen at night or immediately to turn off, I like at night nothing that glows, thanks PlayStore's just good solutions.WLAN coverage at the car parking lot is recommended, maps and Google updates are quite large.Of course, you can also use the phone as a WLAN hotspot. Also, it should somehow be possible to directly address a SIM card, but I have not used.Sound is OK, the same as the original radio, more is probably not possible.Switching on is felt immediately without delay, operation is intuitive, the touchscreen (operation and image) really good.

A great way to bring an older car up to date.

I'm good with computers, not so much with cars, so I had a friend install this one for me. He said the install went easy enough, and the wiring was clear. As for me, I can only speak to the results. My old Mazda 3 had a basic stock infotainment system that has now been nicely upgraded with this Atotolife system that has so many more and robust features, giving me better use of my Android apps for entertainment and navigation. I'm very pleased with how everything is working so far and have encountered no major issues with connectivity or app usage. It definitely makes driving a more enjoyable experience.

1). Built-in 4G Cellular Modem: The built-in 4G LTE modem module works with frequency bands supported by most carriers. Frequency Bands Supported are - 2G (GSM 850, GSM900, GSM1900); 3G WCDMA (B1, B2, B4, B5, B8); 4G LTE (B1, B2, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B17, B19, B25, B26, B38, B41); Only carriers who support bands listed above can allow S8 to access the network. Even if the frequency bands in the above list are supported, the operator's communication base station does not cover the places your vehicle stays, S8 will not be able to access it. You can visit Wikipedia to learn more about LTE bands supported by local carriers. International buyers need to check the frequency bands compatibility with your local carriers/operators before placing order.

Note: The SIM card slot only takes micro size. SIM with Data Plan is not included in the product package.

2). WiFi / BT / USB network tethering:WiFi connection is convenient as it requires only one step - enable your phone's WLAN hotspot, then WiFi connection can be finished within 2-4s.

BT tethering: Running online maps or streaming music online on Android car stereo do not need high bandwidth(less than 200kb/s), BT tethering connection is capable of dealing with such demands. Compared with WiFi connection, BT tethering has lower power consumption, so the phone battery will last much longer while BT tethering is enabled.

USB network tethering is a newly introduced option, it allows users to share phone data with S8 via the USB connection. This could help save the phone battery, or even increase your phone battery level slightly; You only need to run the specific CarbitLink application in the background. Please use the factory/original USB cable that comes with the phone.

Traditional car stereos can only display 400-600 lines CVBS rearview video signals. The S8 MS, when paired with a specific HD camera (AC-HD02LR, or AC-HD03LR for Virtual Surround View, not included), delivers HD 720P rearview video quality.

Live Rear-View (LRV) Feature - Access the rear view even when the vehicle is moving forward. This feature eliminates obstructions caused by passengers, headrests, and the vehicle’s roof and rear pillars, significantly increasing the field of view to include lanes behind and traditional blind spots.

Note: The specified backup cameras (AC-HD02LR or AC-HD03LR) for Live Rear-View are not included.

BT 1: Primarily handles BT calls and A2DP streaming audio. Contacts and recent call records synchronize automatically with the smartphone, featuring "Quick Search" and "Add to Favorites" for efficient dialing. Versatile connectivity

1). Built-in 4G Cellular Modem: The built-in 4G LTE modem module works with frequency bands supported by most carriers. Frequency Bands Supported are - 2G (GSM 850, GSM900, GSM1900); 3G WCDMA (B1, B2, B4, B5, B8); 4G LTE (B1, B2, B4, B5, B7, B8, B12, B13, B17, B19, B25, B26, B38, B41); Only carriers who support bands listed above can allow S8 to access the network. Even if the frequency bands in the above list are supported, the operator's communication base station does not cover the places your vehicle stays, S8 will not be able to access it. You can visit Wikipedia to learn more about LTE bands supported by local carriers. International buyers need to check the frequency bands compatibility with your local carriers/operators before placing order.

Note: The SIM card slot only takes micro size. SIM with Data Plan is not included in the product package.

2). WiFi / BT / USB network tethering:WiFi connection is convenient as it requires only one step - enable your phone's WLAN hotspot, then WiFi connection can be finished within 2-4s.

BT tethering: Running online maps or streaming music online on Android car stereo do not need high bandwidth(less than 200kb/s), BT tethering connection is capable of dealing with such demands. Compared with WiFi connection, BT tethering has lower power consumption, so the phone battery will last much longer while BT tethering is enabled.

USB network tethering is a newly introduced option, it allows users to share phone data with S8 via the USB connection. This could help save the phone battery, or even increase your phone battery level slightly; You only need to run the specific CarbitLink application in the background. Please use the factory/original USB cable that comes with the phone.

Countless Android Apps from Google Play Store

More than 1000 apps from Google Play Store are compatible with S8 Series, especially media/entertainment apps and navigation apps in the category of "Auto & Vehicles". Very few app developers may specify devices/system environments that are allowed to install or run their apps, which results in the inability to install or run on any Android car stereos. For S8 (Gen2), the TrackHU app is initially hidden for privacy. Go to “Settings>Device”, and tap “Device” 4 times quickly. Then a prompt will show up to tell you the TrackHU app is now visible in the app list. No prompt means your car stereo may need an upgrade to access the TrackHU function.

HD 720P Rearview Video Display with Live Rear-View (LRV) Feature

Traditional car stereos can only display 400-600 lines CVBS rearview video signals. The S8 MS, when paired with a specific HD camera (AC-HD02LR, or AC-HD03LR for Virtual Surround View, not included), delivers HD 720P rearview video quality.

Live Rear-View (LRV) Feature - Access the rear view even when the vehicle is moving forward. This feature eliminates obstructions caused by passengers, headrests, and the vehicle’s roof and rear pillars, significantly increasing the field of view to include lanes behind and traditional blind spots.

Note: The specified backup cameras (AC-HD02LR or AC-HD03LR) for Live Rear-View are not included.

Dual BT 5.0 Chips, Enhanced Connectivity.

BT 1: Primarily handles BT calls and A2DP streaming audio. Contacts and recent call records synchronize automatically with the smartphone, featuring "Quick Search" and "Add to Favorites" for efficient dialing. Built-in Noise Cancellation Technology makes clear communication by suppressing background noise and echo feedback, allowing for normal conversation volume.

BT 2: Facilitates BT tethering for internet access and supports connections to BT gamepads (perfect for rear-seat entertainment), BT OBD2 scanners, and BT TPMS (Tire Pressure M0nit0ring Systems).

Dual BT chips enable connections to up to 3 devices (one for audio, two for data). Since this is a universal car stereo, additional accessories may be needed for installation in certain vehicles (not included in the package).
