2.2 Important Notes Before Installation
This manual uses the ATOTO S8G1104MS head unit as an example for the installation steps.
If you are using a car stereo from another brand, please consult its user manual for detailed instructions on wiring the Signal Receiver Module and accessing the Steering Wheel Control (SWC) key mapping features.
2.3 Mount the Remote Controller
Two mounting options are available to accommodate different dashboard layouts. Both options utilize snap-in Mounting Bars with strong 3M adhesive.
Note: Both long and short Mounting Bars are included. Please use the one that best suits your installation needs.
Option A: Mount to the front of the screen or to the dashboard
Attach the Mounting Bar to the Remote Controller
- Align the back of the Remote Controller with the Mounting Bar.
- Press until it “snaps”/clicks into place and feels firmly locked.
- Make sure the buttons face outward and the Remote Controller is level.
Prepare the adhesive (3M tape)
- If the 3M adhesive strip is not already on the Mounting Bar, apply it to the flat mounting surface of the bar first, then press along the full length to ensure full contact.
- Peel off the red 3M adhesive liner slowly (as shown in the picture) to expose the sticky surface.
- Avoid touching the exposed adhesive with your fingers.
Choose the mounting location and install
- Recommended locations: the front/bottom edge of the screen frame, or a flat area on the dashboard.
- Clean the mounting surface (screen frame/dashboard) with a dry cloth; it must be clean, dry, and free of dust/oil.
- Position the Mounting Bar where you want it (check alignment before sticking).
- Press firmly along the entire Mounting Bar for 20–30 seconds to secure it.

【AI 图解: AC-44F20 mounting location example, showing how to attach the module using the adhesive pad and place it on the vehicle dashboard for installation.】
Option B: Mount Under a Floating Screen
- Attach the Remote Controller to the Mounting Bar (top clip)
- Align the top edge of the Remote Controller with the Mounting Bar’s clip/groove.
- Press down until it snaps/clicks into place.
- Gently pull to confirm it’s locked and won’t slide off.
- Prepare the 3M adhesive on the Mounting Bar
- Confirm the 3M tape is applied to the flat back side of the Mounting Bar.
- Peel off the red 3M liner slowly to expose the adhesive.
- Do not touch the exposed adhesive surface.
- Choose the mounting position under the floating screen
- Locate a flat, clean area underneath the floating screen (the underside of the screen housing or a flat trim area directly below it).
- Make sure the Remote Controller will not block: screen movement/adjustment, vents, hazard switch, or other controls.
- Check that there is enough clearance so the Remote Controller won’t rub against the dashboard while driving.
- Clean the mounting surface (critical for under-screen mounting)
- Wipe the underside mounting area with a clean, dry cloth.
- The surface must be dry, dust-free, and oil-free before sticking.
- Stick the Mounting Bar under the floating screen
- Carefully align the Mounting Bar first (do a quick “test fit” before contact).
- Press the Mounting Bar firmly along its full length for 20–30 seconds to ensure full adhesion.

【AI 图解: AC-44F20 mounting location example, showing how to attach the module using the adhesive pad and place it on the vehicle dashboard for installation.】
Important Note:
3M adhesive is not suitable for the following surfaces:
● Leather, fabric, or cloth surfaces
● Silicone, rubber, or oil-coated/non-stick materials
● Rough, textured, or uneven surfaces
For the best adhesion, ensure the mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of dust or oil before installation.
2.4 Connect the Signal Receiver Module
Connect the Signal Receiver Module's wires as follows:
(Black) GND → Chassis Ground (-)
(Red) ACC → Accessory / Ignition (+)
(White) KEY 1 → Steering Wheel Key1 (+)

Important: Ensure all connections are secure. If you are unsure about any step, we recommend consulting a professional installer.
Once the wiring is complete, the Remote Controller and the Signal Receiver Module will pair automatically. No manual pairing is required.
Before first use, you must assign functions to the Remote Controller's buttons using your head unit's SWC (Steering Wheel Control) Learning or setup menu.
Chapter 3 SWC (Steering Wheel Control) Learning Operation
The Remote Controller allows you to assign custom functions to its buttons and knob using your car stereo's built-in SWC (Steering Wheel Control) Learning feature.
The following instructions will guide you through the setup process, using the ATOTO S8G1104MS head unit as an example.
Step 1: Enter the SWC Learning Menu
On your head unit, navigate to: Settings → General → Set up Steering Wheel Audio Key.
This screen will display a list of available functions that you can assign to the buttons and the rotary knob of your Remote Controller.

Step 2: Begin SWC Learning
1.First, tap the desired function on the screen (e.g., 'Home'). The selected function will typically change color or become highlighted.
2.While the function is highlighted, press the button on the Remote Controller that you wish to assign to it. A confirmation message usually appears once the assignment is successful.

Step 3: Continue Assigning Functions
Repeat the process for all other buttons, including both the clockwise and counter-clockwise rotations of the rotary knob.
Note: You do not have to assign a function to every button or rotation. You can leave any of them unassigned if you prefer.
Step 4: Save and Exit
Once you have finished assigning all desired functions, tap "Save and Exit" to complete the setup.
Your Remote Controller is now ready to use with the custom functions you have assigned.

Important Note:
The steps and menu names for accessing the SWC (Steering Wheel Control) Learning function can vary significantly between different brands and models of head units. For specific instructions, please consult the user manual provided with your car stereo.
