Footwell Lights Overview

Elevate your driving ambiance with our Footwell Lights . Crafted for modern drivers, this system allows you to customize your vehicle's inner environment. Boasting vibrant modes with a spectrum of colors, you can set the mood, for calm evenings and energetic road trips. The innovative function tailors brightness to your needs, while the music synchronization feature lets lights pulse to your favorite tracks. Adjusting light attributes is just a tap away with our easily-controlled LumiAuto app.

1. Installation for Footwell Lights

1.1 Before You Begin:

• Ensure your car is switched off and the ignition key is out.
• Clean and dry the spots for the lights to ensure a tight fit.Given the length and routing of the wires and the size and design of the lighting fixture, it's common to place footwell lights under the center console and behind the front seats to achieve consistent lighting in the car.
• Check inside the package to ensure all components are present and undamaged.The packaging contains a control box, a set of Footwell RGB Power Cord, four lights, four adhesive strips（on the back of lights), and an instruction manual.

1.2 Let's Get Installing:

Step 1:

Spread out the control box[01],footwell RGB power cord[02] and four lights[03] in a spacious area.Each light comes with a adhesive strip.

Step 2:

Find the four cable jacks [04] on the Footwell RGB Power Cord labeled ‘Front Footwell Light' and ‘Rear Footwell Light'.

Step 3:

Insert the respective light strip jacks[05] into these cable jacks.

Step 4:

Plug the 18PIN connector[06] from the Footwell RGB Power Cord into the control box [07].

Step 5:

Plug the cigarette lighter plug[08] into the vehicle's power source.

Note: The vehicle's cigarette lighter will serve as the power source.

Step6:

Determine the installation positions, ideally under the center console or behind the front seats.

Step7:

After choosing where to install, remove the film from the light's back. Then, press it firmly onto the spot, making sure it sticks evenly and well.

Step8:

Use cable clips or tape (not included)to arrange and anchor all cables, ensuring they don't shift or interfere with operations while driving.

1. Once installed

• Turn the vehicle's power back on.
• App Check: On your first switch-on,use the LumiAuto app to validate the color, brightness, and patterns.

(For LumiAuto details, refer to the third section: About App).

• Conserve Energy: Moderate the usage of the lights to maintain battery longevity.
• Routine Inspection: Periodically examine for potential wear or damages.

3.About App

3.1 How to download?

3.1.1 For Mobile Devices:

Scan the QR code below with your browser and follow the instructions to download the LumiAuto App for your phone.

Option 2:

Download from ATOTO's resource website(resources.myatoto.com).

Step 1: Access resources.myatoto.com via your mobile browser.

Step 2: Click Download 3rd-Party Apps on the webpage.

Step 3: Input “LumiAuto” in the provided search box.

Step4: From the search results, pick the “LumiAuto For Phones” application and click download key to download.

(Note: Currently, our software is optimized for Android devices. The iOS version is under development and will be available soon.）

3.1.2 For Car Stereo

The latest Android car stereo from the S8 (GEN2) series and the A6 series come with LumiAuto pre-installed.
If the LumiAuto app is not installed on your car stereo, you can obtain it either through a system update or by directly downloading it to the car stereo.

1. System Upgrade:

Step 1: On your smartphone, visit resources.myatoto.com

Step 2: Click Firmware Update on the webpage.

Step 3: Input your car stereo model in the provided search box.

Step 4: On the search page, click the Send Email and an upgrade file will be sent to your email.

Step5: Download this file from your email on a computer.

Step6: Transfer it to a USB drive.

Step7: Insert the USB into your car stereo's “External Storage”port.

Step8: Follow on-screen prompts to finish the upgrade.

Once the upgrade is completed, you will see the latest “LumiAuto ” on your car stereo.

Note: Due to website updates, the actual interface may differ from what's described in the manual. Always refer to the interface you see.

2. Direct Installation on the Car Stereo:

Please refer to the "About App" section in Part 3, and follow the guidelines under Option 2.

Ensure that in Step 4 you choose “LumiAuto For Car stereos”. The remaining steps are the same.

3.2 Bluetooth connection:

Step 1: Turn on the Bluetooth on your phone.

Step 2: Tap Search and in the device list, the ATOTO footwell lights will be displayed as ‘ATOTO-FWD-***'.

Step 3: Tap Connect to pair with the lights.

3.2.1 Bluetooth Connection Issues and Solutions:

• Grant App Permission to Use Bluetooth

For iOS Users:

Navigate to "Settings" → "Privacy" → "Bluetooth" and authorize the app.

For Android Users: This step is not necessary.

• Monitor Voltage Supply:

A low car battery voltage might disrupt a stable Bluetooth connection.

• Avoid Overloading the Cigarette Lighter Socket:

Plugging too many devices into a single cigarette lighter adapter can cause an insufficient power supply.

3.3 Lights Control:

Tap Control : To access the light control screen.

Tap Lights On/Off: Turn the footwell lights on or off manually.

Note: If the Bluetooth connection is lost and the switch the button remains on, the footwell lights will persist in the last chosen mode. Reconnect Bluetooth to resume control.

3.3.1 Light Mode

Single Color Mode

Step1: Tap Sync RGB

Step2: Select a color from the palette by sliding, and the footwell lights will display this color exclusively.
(The color selected from the palette is only for the single color mode.)

Last Selected Color:
When resuming use or reverting to the last-used single color mode from a multi-color mode, simply tap Sync RGB. There's no need to select the color from palette again.

Multi-color Mode

Tap any mode under Dynamic:

The lights offer a flickering transition, creating a dreamy visual experience during nighttime drives.

Tap any mode under Flowing:

Lights flow seamlessly, resembling a tranquil stream. This mode is ideal for long drives.

Tap any mode under Trail:

Lights leave a brief trail, like a meteor streaking across the night sky, adding mystery to your drive.

Rhythm:

Specture:See a lively color show matching a sound spectrum. When music plays, lights move together, offering a great visual display.

Stretch:As your music plays, the lights smoothly extend, mirroring the rhythm and bringing a relaxed feel to your drive.

Wave:Watch light move like waves. Just as the sea moves with the wind, lights follow the music's beat, giving a peaceful view.

Attract:Draw your attention with this setting. Lights blink and come together with music, showing a special visual effect.

Pillar: Imagine tall light beams from your songs. Every sound makes a light stand, creating a standout light scene.

Single Color:Simple is sometimes best. Use this to fill your area with one changing color that moves with the music, making a calm yet lively mood.

Note: You can select either single color mode or multi-color mode, but not both.

3.3.2 Light Adjustments:

Front Brightness: Swipe to adjust the brightness of the front footwell lights.

Rear Brightness: Swipe to adjust the brightness of the rear footwell lights.

Speed: Swipe to modify the transition speed of the lights.

Note:

1.Upon initially opening LumiAuto, the default settings for brightness and speed are set to medium. Adjust as needed to suit your preferences.

1. The app may undergo updates. Always check the app interface for the latest details.

4. App-related information and system settings:

Tap About :

View app, software, and hardware version details here. Additionally, find options to restore factory settings and set the system language.

Note: On initial use, the language will be set according to your system's default. Should you wish to change it, please adjust manually.
