Compatibility

The AC-44F60 is specifically designed to work only with X10 series Android Head Unit.

AC-44F60 Wireless Steering Remote Control Functionality:

The main purpose of the AC-44F60 Watch-Band Style SWC Remote Control is to enable vehicles that do not have steering wheel control functionality to control the X10 Android head unit through the buttons on the AC-44F60 wireless steering remote control. This functionality enhances operational convenience and driving safety, allowing drivers to focus on driving without frequently touching the X10 Android head unit’s screen or control panel.

Common control functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

(1)Volume Control: Adjust the car's audio volume using the buttons on the wireless steering remote control.

(2)Music Switching: Switch songs using the buttons on the wireless steering remote control.

(3)Answer/Hang Up Calls: Answer or hang up calls using the phone button on the wireless steering remote control.

(4)Voice Assistant: Activate the voice control function using the voice assistant button on the wireless steering remote control. 

Detailed Installation Instructions:

1. Installation of the Transmitter and Receiver:

(1) Transmitter Installation:

·Installation Location: The transmitter should be installed in a convenient location on the steering wheel of your car, ensuring that the driver can easily press the buttons for operation.

For example, fasten it to the vehicle’s steering wheel or mount it at any desired position on the steering wheel.

·Signal Connection: The transmitter uses wireless communication to connect with the receiver, ensuring stable signal transmission.

(2) Receiver Installation:

·Connection to the X10 Anroid hesd unit: The receiver needs to be connected to the input interface of the X10 Android head unit via the dedicated SWC IR port (Insert the receiver into the SWC port of the cable combination, and the cable combination is included in your X10 package.)

Once connected, the receiver will automatically communicate wirelessly with the X10 Android head unit.

·Power Supply: The receiver is powered by an internal battery. If the battery runs out, please replace it with a new one to ensure the device works properly.

2. Using the Wireless Steering Remote Control:

·Function Control: During driving, the driver can easily control various functions of the X10 Android head unit, such as adjusting volume, switching songs, answering calls, etc., using the buttons on the wireless steering remote control.

·Safe Use: The operation is simple and convenient, and the driver can complete all controls without taking their hands off the steering wheel, effectively enhancing driving convenience and safety.

Detailed Operation Instructions:

Once the installation is complete, you can begin using the AC-44F60.

·Press the (Voice Assistant & Screen On/Off) Button to activate the voice assistant.
·Press and hold for 2 seconds to turn the screen on or off.

·Press the (Mute / R) Button to mute the audio; press and hold to access the RCAM rear view.

Note: If the device is already displaying the RCAM rear view, press and hold the button to exit the camera view.

·Press the(Pause / F) Button to pause the current track; press and hold to access the FCAM front view.
Note: If the device is already displaying the FCAM front view, press and hold the button to exit the camera view.

·Press the(Track Backward / Hang Up) Button to skip to the previous track or to end a call.

·Press the(Track Forward / Answer) Button to skip to the next track or to answer a call.

Volume Adjustmdent: Turn the knob on the edge to adjust the volume.

Troubleshooting

1. Issue Description:
Stops working after 10 months of use.

Solution:
The battery (3.3V CR2032) may be depleted. Please replace it with a new one.

2. Issue Description:
The device does not work.

Solution:

(1)Ensure your car stereo is from the X10 series; this AC-44F60 is only compatible with X10 car stereos.

(2) Check whether the transmitter is loose and secure it firmly. Verify that the transmitter is connected to the correct port labeled “SWC.”

(3) Ensure the transmitter is within 5 meters of the receiver to allow proper signal reception.
