Installation Warnings

Exclusivity

The AC-HD30BM Front Dash Camera is designed exclusively for S8 Lite Series Car Stereos (Except S8L Floating Screen) . Do not attempt to use it with other systems to avoid compatibility issues or potential damage.

Vehicle Condition

For safety, always install or connect the receiver while the vehicle is turned off. Installing while the engine is running may cause electrical hazards or safety risks.

Wire Connection

Take extra care when wiring. Ensure that no wires, plugs, or ports are damaged during installation. After inserting each plug into its port, give it a slight twist to confirm secure and complete contact.

Installation Introduction

Install the AC-HD30BM Front Camera

Step 1: Confirm the installation position of the camera — the upper-center area of the vehicle’s interior front windshield.

Step 2: After selecting the installation position, peel off the protective film on the back of the camera and firmly attach it to the front windshield.

Step 3: Step 3: Remove the protective film from the base, then attach it to the designated location on the interior side of the front windshield.

Step 4: Connect AC-HD30BM to Your Car Stereo

(1)Install the AC-HD30BM on your vehicle’s front windshield.

(2)Connect the terminal of the extension cable to the terminal of the AC-HD30BM cable.

(3) Connect the red wire of the AC-HD30BM camera extension cable to the CAM +12V wire, and connect the black wire to the ground wire (GND) of the head unit’s power harness.

(4) Plug the yellow RCA connector of the AC-HD30BM camera extension cable into the Front Camera IN (DVR IN) connector on the head unit’s cable.

Step 5: When installing the AC-HD30BM Front Camera, refer to the wiring diagram below. Route the cable along the interior edges of the vehicle to keep it concealed.

Warning: The adhesive tape on the camera base has strong bonding strength. Please remove it carefully to help avoid damage to the front windshield. If you are unable to remove it safely, seek assistance from a professional installer.

Important Note:

Large Memory Capacity Support: Because the S8 Lite Series Car Stereo supports up to a 128GB memory card and a 2TB external hard drive for video storage(USB1 Recording Storage), it can meet long-term recording storage needs when used together. (The memory card and hard drive are sold separately.)
