Offline Map is essential since many users drive in the area where cellular data is hard to access and care about data fees. Thus we offer offline maps to download, covering the U.S., Japan, and most other countries. The availability and changes of offline maps are subject to Google Maps. Traditional offline map update is a huge cost and PND users won't update maps until replacing for a new one. But on P8, offline map update is totally free!

Apps that are not compatible with CarPlay/Android Auto can easily be projected onto the P8's large screen through Auto Link. Freely watch videos and navigate on the P8's large screen for a clearer view on a bigger display. All wirelessly and without hassle.

With P8 installed in your car, you are no longer forced to replace your PND every one or two years in order to keep up with the latest consumer electronics functions, because all future updates and features are seamlessly integrated with your phone through CarPlay or Android Auto.

IMPORTANT: Please note that the P8 series is ONLY compatible with ATOTO AC-FCR01W and AC-RCR01W cameras. It is NOT COMPATIBLE with cameras from other brands or original vehicle cameras.

Monitoring your car for 24 hours with a continuous power supply. As *AC-P8AC12 connects to car battery, P8 activates within seconds when it detects a sudden collision or bump, capturing critical 20-second video clip. It won't be overwritten, ensuring important footage is protected. A reliable witness for accident even when you are away. In standby mode,the required current is less than 10mA, no need to worry about power consumption.

Under intense lights like direct sunlight or bright streetlights, the backup cam captures key details, like license plates, for clear evidence. In blinding conditions, use the AC-44F6 Wireless Remote to see the road on P8's 7-inch screen. Night-Vision ensures clear visibility of license plates and other important markers, even in the dark.

Feel confident with the built-in Gravity sensor. It automatically identifies incidents and locks videos as "Events" when it detects sudden changes in gravity(e.g. in a clash). You can also manually lock videos to preserve important moments.

Even if P8's power is abruptly cut off in an accident, the built-in capacitor ensures that the recorded video is saved and safeguarded.

Rear camera starts recording automatically once a micro SD card is in the slot (support max. 128G) on P8. Recorded footage is automatically overwritten and you can adjust the loop time to suit your preferences.

Connect it to your vehicle's backup light, and the rear view will automatically activate when you shift into reverse. Moreover, the rear camera is capable of real-time recording, allowing you to view the rearview even while the vehicle is moving forward.

With a built-in light sensor, P8 smartly adapts screen brightness according to surrounding lights. The screen becomes dimmer when you drive from bright sunlight to a tunnel and lighter when into the sunlight again. We offer this upgraded function because we can’t imagine the potential danger of diverting you from the road for 3 seconds to manually adjust brightness while driving at high speeds.

Note: Any blockage of the light sensor area could affect it as it depends on detecting light changes.
