What it is
CB7SBX wireless CarPlay adapter is a feature-packed member of ATOTO’s CB7 Standard family. It plugs into a head unit’s wired CarPlay (or wired Android Auto) USB port, turns it into wireless CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, and adds a stand-alone Android system you can switch to whenever you want more than CP/AA can offer. As an “X” variant, it includes HDMI Out, HDMI In, and AHD camera input—the full I/O set.
Who it’s for
●Drivers who want wireless CP/AA without replacing the factory radio.
●Families who need HDMI Out for rear/headrest screens while keeping audio through the car’s amps/EQ.
●Anyone who occasionally plugs in a console or TV stick via HDMI In.
●Users who want on-box DVR from an add-on camera at FHD 1080p/30fps.
●Power users who prefer the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage tier for smoother multitasking and more cached content.
The big benefits (in plain English)
1) Cut the cord for CarPlay/Android Auto
Keep the native experience you know—just wireless now. If your head unit only had CarPlay (or only Android Auto), CB7SBX adds the other wirelessly too.
2) A second brain on your dash
Switch to an independent Android 13 desktop (Qualcomm QCM6125, 8GB+128GB) for apps beyond CP/AA—ideal for online video, richer tools, and ATOTO’s smart add-ons.
3) Internet your way
Go online via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth tethering, or use the built-in 4G LTE modem.
●Cloud/virtual SIM: buy data in-app—no card required (physical SIM also supported).
●Note: USB tethering isn’t supported.
4) Full HDMI I/O (the “X” advantage)
●HDMI Out to a passenger or rear monitor; audio stays in your car audio path so you keep EQ/fader/balance control.
●HDMI In accepts video from a console, TV stick, or other HDMI source.
5) AHD camera DVR built-in
Connect an AHD camera and use the built-in DVR app to record at FHD 1080p/30fps, with easy playback on your head unit.
●Accessories are sold separately (camera, WR2 wireless reverse system, Bluetooth OBD, smart ambient/chassis lights, etc.).
●CB7SBX provides the interfaces and apps; you choose the add-ons you want.
6) ATOTO software AI out of the box
●DriveChat (powered by ChatGPT): natural-language answers, planning, and on-box voice commands (controls CB7SBX software, not your car’s native radio).
●TrackHU: device location, route history, and geofencing.
●CIotHub + BLE add-ons: pair Bluetooth accessories (e.g., OBD, smart lights) for control/status on the big screen.
●OBD app: see diagnostics from a compatible Bluetooth OBD adapter.
●FindApps downloader: curated access to select titles that may not appear in Google Play on in-vehicle devices.
7) Power stability updates
●Some head units’ USB ports can’t supply enough current, especially with accessories attached. Use the included Y-cable to draw power from a separate 12V USB fast-charge outlet while the data line stays in the CP/AA USB—this maximizes stability.
●OTA firmware adds features and fixes over time (with a roadmap for smarter DriveChat agents and camera-based AI Vision prompts).
Safety tip: Follow local laws. Keep video to passengers or when parked.
Setup in three steps
1.Plug in CB7SBX to your head unit’s CP/AA USB port.
2.Pair your phone for wireless CarPlay/Android Auto.
3.Get online via Wi-Fi/Bluetooth tethering or activate LTE data (cloud SIM or physical SIM).

Buying guidance (quick take)
Choose CB7SBX if you want the complete CB7 Standard I/O set (HDMI Out + HDMI In + AHD DVR) and the headroom of 8GB+128GB.
●If you don’t need AHD/DVR, CB7SATN covers HDMI In/Out at a lower cost.
●If you want the newer Android base, AHD standard across all models, and optional 5G, look at the CB7 series (e.g., CB7BV / CB7BVF).

●CB7SBX main unit
●Three USB cables, including a power-split Y-cable for stable operation
●Quick start materials
Bottom line
CB7SBX is the sweet-spot CB7 Standard: it cuts the cord for CP/AA, adds a full CarPlay AI box with Android 13, drives second screens and accepts external HDMI sources, and records from an AHD camera at 1080p/30—all with the extra memory/storage that keeps things smooth as you add apps and content. Accessories are modular and sold separately, so you can build exactly the setup you want.
