Offline Map is essential since many users drive in the area where cellular data is hard to access and care about data fees. Thus we offer offline maps to download, covering the U.S., Japan, and most other countries. The availability and changes of offline maps are subject to Google Maps. Traditional offline map update is a huge cost and PND users won't update maps until replacing for a new one. But on P8, offline map update is totally free! Please consult ATOTO for details.

Apps that are not compatible with CarPlay/Android Auto can easily be projected onto the P8's large screen through Auto Link (upgrade needed). Freely watch videos and navigate on the P8's large screen for a clearer view on a bigger display. All wirelessly and without hassle.

Thanks to the build-in receiver in P8, simply turn on P8 and you can use AC-44F6 remote control right away! No complicated wiring job. Either wrap it around the steering wheel with the watchband, or stick it at a handy location. Luminous buttons give you a clear view even during night driving!

With a built-in light sensor, P8 dynamically adjusts the screen brightness to match ambient lighting conditions, ensuring optimal visibility as you transition from areas like bright sunlight into tunnels and vice versa. This feature mitigates the risk of taking your eyes off the road to adjust settings manually.

Note: Make sure no objects obstruct the light sensor area. Any blockage could affect it as it depends on detecting light changes.

We specially offer the AUX function for those who prefer an upmost lossless audio experience. All you need to do is connect P8 and the head unit with the included 3.5mm male-to-male AUX cable. In addition, the robust 3.5mm AUX cable surpasses standard AUX cables in the market. While slightly less flexible, it ensures exceptional audio fidelity.

The P8 features a 7-inch Ultra Clear QLED Display with 1024x600 resolution and 600cd/m2 brightness, ensuring crisp and vibrant visuals (most traditional PNDs only offer 200-500cd/m2 and adopt LCD or IPS screen type, less clear than QLED). By precisely adjusting the backlight brightness in different areas of the screen, DBF(Dual Brightness Film) brings out incredible details in both dark and bright scenes.

Unlike regular screens that may glare under sunlight, the QLED display of the P8 won't produce distracting glares, with no need for a hood or hand shading to ease glare.
