Surprisingly good!

While I am not an expert on Audio or Car radio installations - it is also not my first rodeo.I have heard of ATOTO before, and felt like I wanted to give them a try for my next install & overall I am very impressed.The build quality of the device is shocking for the price - it is shockingly light, but solid built. Installing it into my car (an older Volvo V70) was extremely easy with the right adapters (The car OEM harness adapter + the proper dash adapter too - don't forget!) and very quick too.The quality of the music coming from the OEM speakers was a lot improved too - which I know I will have to buy new speakers for my next purchase, but the fact this unit will push better quality music is really nice to know.The software of the device itself is super simple, with a ton of different customizations. The fact it has wireless CarPlay is also such a nice upgrade! I paired my phone with a nice charge + MagSafe, and getting it al started is just turning on the car - wild how far we have come!If you are wanting to add CarPlay to a old vehicle, improve the music quality, or just want something different without breaking the bank - you NEED to take a look at this unit!

Nice display and responsive

Nine inch display is a perfect size for my older sedan. I had too get some help from a friend for the installation but in the end it was pretty straight forward. Rear camera which i ordered seperatly works great.The specs are good so the system is snappy and running smoothly. For me it's all about the screen and having maps displaying on more real estate is safer for driving. Audio sounds much better than my old standard system that was in there.Happy with it.Highly recommended

Great In Dash Entertainment Centre Upgrade for Older Vehicles!

It has so many more options than my old CD player, AM/FM stock, USB, iPhone capable stock entertainment console on my Subaru. It is currently on my test bench, making sure the wire harness supplied, matches the wiring schematic of my stock console. Before I cut the wires and remove my Subaru stock console, I wanted to make sure I do not cross wire anything or have any compatibility issues. I tested out the rear camera trigger mechanism and it works as expected. So far all other tests look good, and I am preparing to wire this into my vehicle.I will update this review once it is installed.This in dash entertainment centre is good value for money and I recommend this product.

4.5⭐️ Great large display.

This stereo head unit has a large display that is just as large as my old one with the thick surrounding rim around it. All the wiring is coded with tape so that it makes it a lot easier to tap into your existing wiring when doing the swap. I removed my factory head unit on my Rav4 and realized that it has a proprietary cover over the back that will not accommodate this unit and be able to put the covering back on, so I am now trying to order a new cover. There are harness connections that make it plug and play available from a third party, so I ordered those as well, so that I do not need to cut my factory wiring. While I had my old unit out, I did use some jumper wires to test this unit a bit and the display is great and so much larger than my factory one. From what I could test, it works although I was not able to connect the steering wheel controls when I was testing. That will be done when the full harness comes in. The antenna plug is also not compatible with my vehicle, but I was able to get a convertor for that as well. This all adds to the cost but does make it for a cleaner job and easy to go back to the factory if I want. I do wish that Atoto would provide these with the wiring kits together as it would make more sense. I will not be using the sim card slot as I just use my phone through my stereo, but there is a hook up slot for a sim card if you want for phone and data. From the reading I have done while trying to order the parts I need, this brand seems to make a good compatible stereo that works well with most vehicles.

2). WiFi / Bluetooth / USB network tethering: WiFi connection is easier as it requires only one step - enable your phone's WLAN hotspot, then WiFi connection can be finished within 2-4s.

Bluetooth tethering: Running online maps or streaming music online on Android car stereo do not need high bandwidth(less than 200kb/s), Bluetooth tethering connection is capable of dealing with such demands. Compared with WiFi connection, Bluetooth tethering has lower power consumption, so the phone battery will last much longer while Bluetooth tethering is enabled.

USB network tethering is a newly introduced option, it allows users to share phone data with this series via the USB connection. This could help save the phone battery, or even increase your phone battery level slightly; You only need to run the specific CarbitLink application in the background. The TrackHU app is initially hidden for privacy. Go to “Settings>Device”, and tap “Device” 4 times quickly. Then a prompt will show up to tell you the TrackHU app is now visible in the app list. No prompt means your car stereo may need an upgrade to access the TrackHU function.

Traditional car stereos can only take and display 400-600 lines CVBS rearview video signal. This car stereo works with a specific HD camera (AC-HD02LR,sold separately) to show HD 720P rearview video quality.

Live RearView (LRV) Feature - Access Rearview even if vehicle in moving ahead. This could remove obstructions of passengers, headrests and the vehicle’s roof and rear pillars, increasing field of view (the lanes behind and traditional blind-spots).

The specified backup camera (AC-HD02LR) for Live RearView is sold separately.

BT 1: Primarily handles BT calls and A2DP streaming audio.
