Dashcam delight

I purchased the AC-44P2 Dashcam at the same time as the S8G2A74MS head unit for an upgrade of my Mazda MX-5 OEM Alpine unit.
The self-installation was easily undertaken without any issues, as it was simply a case of plugging the cable into the USB External storage cable, formatting the (seperately purchased) 64GB SD card, and tweaking the adjustable angle of the camera to optimize the desired field of vision.
The captured footage is very clear (although I've not driven in the hours of darkness with it yet).
I'm very happy with the additional reassurance that now having a dashcam provides.

Plug and play

Excellent dash cam, good quality crisp picture. Works well with the HD DVR app on my Atoto unit. Literally plug and play. The cable is long enough to connect nearly to the unit. I had one query I needed answered and support from Atoto sorted it straight away. Very happy.

This integrates perfectly with the s8 as the DVR app is preinstalled. It is literally just plug and play. The cable length is very generous which makes it easy to route the cable along the headliner and down the a pillar. The image is very clear and plays back well on the s8 including audio. When on the dvr app you can swipe left hand bar up and down to get to various options.
