• Phone mirroring and integration link: Phone mirroring - EasyConnect app pre-installed and supports operation with the latest iOS and Android devices (system firmware update may be required). Two options are available (USB / Wi-Fi) for connecting to Android smartphones and iPhone; Phone Integration Link (Wired/wireless CarPlay; Wired/wireless Android Auto integrates your smartphone (iPhone and Android) seamlessly with the S8's display and controls via USB, allowing you to make phone calls, access your music, send and receive messages, and receive directions. Wireless CarPlay is available on S8 Pro, Ultra, and Ultra Plus;
• Some other features:system quick start; Split screen; Digital Photo Frame option: users can insert memorable photos into the specified Gallery folder and automatically play them on the S8's large HD screen with a single touch; Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC)- As speed increases, the volume of the head unit increases by a certain percentage. This is to compensate for road noise; USB network tethering: sharing phone data with the S8 head unit via USB connection; Live Rear-View (LRV) - Now you can access the rear view even if your vehicle is moving forward. Inputs, outputs, and slots

• AUX audio input (L/R)/video; Front camera video input FCAM; Reverse camera input; 4-channel RCA audio output (2v) for connection to factory/aftermarket amplifier; Separate sub-woof output (0.8V); For S8 Pro, Optical SPDIF Out and Quick Charge interfaces are available; To connect to a headrest monitor, an additional ATOTO video output adapter from USB to HDMI or USB to RCA (not included) is required;
• One Micro SD slot - for storing media files and can read up to 512 GB memory card; 5 USB interfaces: 4 for data communication, including reading USB drives (reading unlimited external storage devices, including portable SSD) and optional USB devices and phone link for Mirror casting / EasyConnect or Phone Integration Link; 1 USB for quick phone charging.

Important: during the installation of the screen module, ensure no screw holes are left open and tighten the screws, otherwise there might be problems with the screen module (stripes, screen freezing, blurred screens, etc..).

Vehicle Fitment:For ATOTO S8 with 10-inch floating display (DAH10D), the front panel of its double DIN base measures 178x100 (mm) and the 10.1-inch screen size is 252x155 (mm). The 10.1-inch floating display stands out from its double DIN base and allows users to adjust the height and viewing angle (up or down). Although, for some vehicles, the edge of the large screen may block the air vent, emergency switch button, or other buttons, causing inconvenience.

More than a car radio: install Android apps and connect to various external devices to expand functions

S8 Pro provides 4 methods for Internet access: Wi-Fi / BT / USB Tethering and built-in 4G cellular modem:

1). Phone cellular data

• S8 allows users to connect to the phone's hotspot via 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi or Bluetooth tethering for Internet access.
• Running online maps or streaming online music on the Android car stereo does not require high bandwidth (less than 200kb/s), and the Bluetooth tethering connection can handle such demand.
• Compared to WiFi connection, Bluetooth tethering has lower power consumption, so the phone's battery will last much longer while Bluetooth tethering is enabled;
• The WiFi connection is simpler as it requires only one step: enable your phone's WLAN hotspot and the WiFi connection is completed within 2-4 seconds; Bluetooth connection requires 2-3 steps;
• USB network tethering is a newly introduced option by ATOTO that allows users to share phone data with S8 via USB connection. This could help save the phone's battery or even slightly increase it; Simply run the specific EasyConnect application in the background;

2). Built-in 4G cellular modem

• There is a SIM card slot with the unit and it only requires Nano size. The SIM with Data Plan is not included in the product package
• The built-in 4G LTE modem module works with the frequency bands supported by most carriers. The supported frequency bands are: 2G: GSM 850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900; 3G WCDMA: B1, B2, B5, B8; 4G: B1, B2, B3, B5, B7, B8, B19, B20, B25, B26, B28A, B28, B34, B38, B39, B40, B41;
• Only carriers that support the above-listed bands can allow S8 to access the network. Even if the frequency bands in the above list are supported, if the carrier's communication base station does not cover the places where your vehicle is located, S8 will not be able to access it.

Install countless Android apps from Google Play Store

• More than 1000 installable Google Play Store apps have been tested on the ATOTO S8 series, particularly multimedia/entertainment and navigation apps in the "Auto & Vehicles" category. Very few app developers can specify devices/system environments for which installation or execution of their apps is allowed, resulting in the inability to install or run on any Android car stereo.

Note: Some apps are not compatible with S8 (Gen2), for example, Netflix.

Versatile connectivity - ATOTO S8 Pro has many custom inputs and outputs to work better in a vehicle.

• Connect to a specific 1080P USB DVR camera on the dashboard for video preview and playback;
• Connect to a specific ATOTO USB TPMS tire pressure monitoring system. When one or more tires are deflated, an alert will appear on the S8 screen and even emit a beep as a reminder;
• Connect to a reverse camera with CVBS and HD video signal output for safe parking;
• Connect to your Android/iOS smartphone via USB/WiFi and use EasyConnection to cast what's displayed on your phone to the S8 screen;
• Connect to your Android/iOS smartphone via USB to perform the iPhone CarPlay/Android Auto function, which perfectly integrates your smartphone (iPhone and Android) with the built-in S8 display and allows you to make phone calls, access your music, send and receive messages, get directions; Wireless CarPlay connection is available in S8 Pro, Ultra, and Ultra Plus versions.
• Connect to an OBD II diagnostic scanner/engine code reader via Bluetooth; Compared to single Bluetooth, dual Bluetooth makes communication tasks between multiple Bluetooth connections more balanced and stable.
• Connect the phone to the dedicated Fast Charging interface, S8 will quickly charge the phone's battery.
• Connect to headrest monitors using the ATOTO USB video output adapter (AC-AHV68: USB to HDMI adapter; AC-AHV48: USB to RCA adapter; both sold separately) and what is displayed on the S8 can be synchronized with the headrest monitors.

Dual Bluetooth chip inside, connectable to multiple Bluetooth-based devices

• Bluetooth 1 works as hands-free Bluetooth (call/answer) with A2DP audio streaming function. Contacts/recent records will be synced once the smartphone is connected. Supports "Quick Search" and "Add to Favorites" for quick dialing!
