• Product Model:S8 Pro (Gen 2): Model No.: S8G2104PR-A (3GB+32GB), Mounting style: DAH10D (Double-DIN Adaptive Head-Unit with 10.1-inch display); The letter A in the model name means that its 4G cellular modem supports the main frequency bands of major operators in European and Asian areas, so it may not be compatible with some other operators from North American areas. If you need a different version (S8G2104PR-N) that works with North American carriers, search for alternative listings/ASIN.
• System Information:SoC Chip: UNISOC 7862 ARM Cortex Octa-Core (up to 1.8 GHz) CPU with ARM Mali-G52 MP2 GPU, advanced 12nm manufacturing process. • Link to phone mirroring and phone integration: Phone mirroring - The EasyConnect app is pre-installed and supports working with the latest iOS and Android devices (a system firmware update may be required). Two options are available for connecting with Android smartphones and iPh0ne (USB/WiFi); Phone integration link (wired/wireless CarPlay; wired/wireless Android Auto) - It seamlessly integrates your smartphone (iPh0ne & Android) into the S8's built-in display, enabling you to make calls, access your music, send and receive messages, get directions (Note: For the wired CarPlay and Android Auto connection, please use the factory/original USB cable that comes with the phone for ATOTO S8 head-units).
• Some other features: Fast system startup; Split-screen display; "Digital picture frame" option – Users can place memorable photos in the specified gallery folder and have them automatically play on the S8's large HD screen with just one touch. Speed Compensated Volume Control (SCVC) – As you increase your speed, the volume of the main unit increases by a certain percentage. This is to compensate for road noise; USB network tethering– Share your phone's data via the USB connection with the S8 head unit;Live Rear-View (LRV)– You can now access the rear view even when your vehicle is moving forward. This can eliminate obstacles caused by passengers, headrests, roof, and rear pillars of the vehicle and expand the field of view.

Inputs, outputs, and slots

• AUX audio (L/R)/video input; FCAM front camera video input; rear camera input; 4-channel RCA audio output (2V) to connect to factory/aftermarket amplifiers; separate subwoofer output (0.8 V); For S8 Pro, optical SPDIF output and fast charging interfaces are available; To connect a headrest monitor, you need an additional ATOTO USB-to-HDMI or USB-to-RCA video output adapter (not included);
• One micro-SD slot - for storing media files (up to 512 GB SD card); 5 USB interfaces – 4 for data communication, including reading USB drives (unlimited reading of external storage devices, including portable SSDs) and optional USB devices and connecting phones for CP/AA/EasyConnect; 1 USB for fast phone charging.

Important: During installation of the display module, ensure not to leave any screw holes open and tighten the screws firmly, as otherwise, it could lead to issues with the display module (stripes, screen freezing, blurry screen, etc..

Vehicle compatibility:For the ATOTO S8 with a 10.1-inch floating display (DAH10D), the front panel of the 2-DIN base measures 178 x 100 (mm) and its 10.1-inch screen size is 252 x 155 (mm). The floating 10.1-inch display stands out from its 2-DIN base, allowing users to adjust height and viewing angle (up or down). However, in certain vehicles, the edge of the large screen might block the air vent, emergency button, or other buttons, causing inconvenience.

S8 Pro offers 4 methods for internet access - Wi-Fi / BT / USB tethering and built-in 4G cellular modem:

1). Phone Internet Access

• S8 establishes an internet connection via 2.4GHz/5GHz Wi-Fi or Bluetooth tethering to the phone hotspot.
• Online maps and music streaming require <200 Kbit/s, which Bluetooth tethering covers, saving power in the process.
• USB tethering with S8 efficiently shares phone data and conserves battery. EasyConnect app runs in the background for this purpose.
• Wi-Fi connection is established in one step, Bluetooth requires more steps.

2). Integrated 4G Modem

The S8 features a nano-SIM card slot, though a data SIM is not included. It supports a wide range of carrier frequencies for 2G, 3G, and 4G, given the network coverage is available. Before purchase, you should check the compatibility of frequency bands with local providers. More than 1000 apps from the Google Play Store were successfully tested, although some compatibility restrictions may occur.

Note:Some apps are not compatible with S8 (Gen2), e.g., Netflix.

Versatile Connectivity - The ATOTO S8 Pro features multiple inputs and outputs, tailored for better operation in a vehicle.

• Connect the USB dash camera and ATOTO USB TPMS to the S8 for video recording and tire pressure warnings.
• Reverse camera connection for easier parking. (Connection of headrest monitors via ATOTO USB video output adapter.)
• Smartphone mirroring via EasyConnection and use of CarPlay (wireless/wired) as well as Android Auto (wired) for vehicle integration.
• Bluetooth connection to OBD II for diagnostics and fast charging of the phone via a dedicated interface.

• aptX Low Latency audio delivers sound in sync with the screen, reduces delay, and enhances the end-to-end speed of audio transmission (from 120 ms to 40 ms!), resulting in high-quality, synchronized sound that you never miss a beat.
