Therefore, we offer offline maps to download, covering the United States, Japan, and most other countries. The availability and changes in offline maps are subject to Google Maps. Traditional offline map updating is a huge cost and PND users do not update maps until they purchase a new one. But on the P8, offline map updating is totally free!

Apps not compatible with CarPlay/Android Auto can easily be projected onto the large screen of the P8 via Auto Link. Freely watch videos and navigate on the P8's large screen for clearer viewing on a bigger display. All wirelessly and hassle-free.

With a micro SD card (up to 128G) in the P8, both front and rear cameras automatically record and overwrite old recordings, with adjustable loop time. By connecting the rear camera to your vehicle's reverse light, the P8 activates in reverse and provides live views while driving. The camera can also be submerged in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes without issues, withstanding heavy rain and snow.

The AC-44F6 wireless remote control is the perfect solution for quick access to the P8, instead of having to reach the P8 for an operation, which is rather dangerous. With an integrated light sensor, the P8 intelligently adjusts the screen brightness according to the surrounding lights. The screen becomes dimmer when moving from bright sunlight to a tunnel and brighter when returning to sunlight.

Note: Any obstruction of the light sensor area could affect it as it relies on detecting changes in light.

The P8 features a 7-inch Ultra-Clear QLED Display with 1024x600 resolution and 600cd/m2 brightness, ensuring sharp and vibrant images (most traditional PNDs offer only 200-500cd/m2 and use LCD or IPS screens, less clear than QLED).
