Phone cellular data: The S8 allows you to connect to your phone's hotspot via WiFi (2.4GHz & 5GHz) or Bluetooth tethering to access the internet.
- Bluetooth tethering: Ideal for low bandwidth needs such as online maps or streaming music (less than 200kb/s). Consumes less energy than WiFi and extends the phone's battery life.
- WiFi hotspot: Simple connection via 2.4GHz or 5GHz WiFi by activating the phone's hotspot. Connection completed in 2-4 seconds.
- USB tethering: Share the phone's data connection with the S8 via USB. This not only saves battery but can also slightly increase the charge level. Make sure to keep the CarbitLink app running in the background.
(2) Vehicle compatibility: Compatible with most North American double-DIN frames (opening 174mm x 98mm). Includes an adapter to expand the size to 178mm x 101.5mm.

●Bluetooth 1 functions as a hands-free (call/receive) with A2DP streaming audio. Contacts and recent calls sync upon startup. Supports 'Quick Search' and 'Add to Favorites' for fast calling.
●The integrated noise cancellation technology reduces background noise and echo during calls, so you don't have to raise your voice to be heard.
●Bluetooth 2 functions as a tethering connection for the internet and supports Bluetooth gamepads (for kids in the back seats), OBD2 Bluetooth, TPMS Bluetooth, and more. The dual Bluetooth system allows connecting up to 3 devices simultaneously (one for audio, two for data).

Easy control options for safe driving with the S8
● Using the car stereo while driving can be dangerous. The S8 offers up to 24 frequently used functions that can be linked to the steering wheel audio buttons for safer use. For cars without steering wheel audio controls, we highly recommend our AC-44F8 SWC (sold separately).
● The S8 also supports six touch gestures: two or three-finger touches allow you to quickly access the multitasking menu, switch between 9 preset EQ modes, adjust screen brightness, and more, enhancing safety while driving.
● Additionally, the S8 supports split-screen viewing: you can use navigation and another app (like YouTube) simultaneously. The new SCVC function (Speed Compensated Volume Control) automatically adjusts the volume based on vehicle speed (above 80 km/h), thanks to software algorithms based on GPS location.
Broad compatibility for vehicle installation
●Currently, 7-inch aftermarket car stereo front panels are available in various sizes (178x100 mm, 178x102 mm, 180x102 mm).
●However, most dashboard adapter kit suppliers (like Metra, Scosche, PAC, etc.) offer openings of 174x98 mm, making installation problematic for many users. Our S8 universal double DIN models measure 172x97 mm, ensuring perfect compatibility without the need for cutting or modifications.
●This S8 model is a universal double DIN car radio. Any additional accessory needed for installation in a specific vehicle is not included and must be prepared by the buyer (if necessary). These accessories may include, but are not limited to, dashboard trim kits, wiring, radio antenna adapter, and data interface.
Rear HD 720P video display with Live Rear-View (LRV) function
●Traditional car radios only handle CVBS backup camera video signals from 400-600 lines. Our S8 MS, paired with a specific HD camera (AC-HD01LR, included), delivers HD 720P reversing images.
●Live RearView (LRV) function: access the rear view even when the car is moving forward. It eliminates obstacles caused by passengers, headrests, roofs, and rear pillars, expanding the field of vision and covering back lanes and traditional blind spots.
Protection of personal privacy without sacrificing convenience
● To protect Google, Facebook, and other social accounts from unauthorized access, the S8 offers a screen lock option. You can lock the screen when the car (or car radio) is not under your control, such as during valet parking or when others are using the vehicle.
● Additionally, the “Unlock with Bluetooth” function allows you to automatically unlock the S8's screen when your phone's Bluetooth is connected.
● There's no need to manually enter a password: simply enter or exit the Bluetooth range to lock or unlock your S8.
