Troubleshooting
1. PSCD won’t power on or keeps restarting
① Make sure you are using the original vehicle power supply,
including the cigarette lighter, power cable, and optional AutoNap (if purchased separately).
② Check that the power cable is connected properly.
Be sure the PSCD is powered through the POWER port.
③ Confirm that your vehicle’s power supply is stable.
If the vehicle battery voltage drops below the levels shown below, please check or replace the battery:
Car (12V): below 11.9V
Truck (24V): below 23.2V
Low voltage may prevent the PSCD from powering on or cause it to restart unexpectedly.
- Unable to connect to CarPlay
This issue may occur if the hotspot on the PSCD is already connected to another device. Please try the following steps:
① Turn off the hotspot on the PSCD and try connecting CarPlay again;
② If the connection still fails, delete all previously paired Bluetooth devices on both your phone and the PSCD, then restart both devices and try again.
- Wired CarbitLink connection fails to mirror screen or access the internet on the PSCD
This issue may be caused by using the wrong USB-C port on the PSCD.
Please ensure that the CarbitLink 2-in-1 Cable is connected to the correct USB-C port — the one located next to the RST button, which supports data transmission.
- Screen brightness does not adjust automatically when ambient light changes
This may be caused by the Auto Brightness feature being turned off. Please go to Settings > Display and make sure Auto Brightness is enabled.
- DVR cannot record video
This may be caused by the SD card being full.
Please try formatting the SD card or replacing it with a new one.
- “No SD card” message appears after inserting an SD card
This may be caused by incorrect insertion of the SD card.
Please insert the card according to the orientation guide printed on the device.
To remove the card, simply press it gently — it will pop out automatically.
If the issue persists, the SD card may be damaged. Try replacing it with a new card.
- No emergency video is recorded
This may be caused by one of the following:
① The Park Monitor feature is turned off. Please go to DVR > Settings and enable Park Monitor.
② The G-sensor sensitivity is set too low, preventing recording from being triggered. Try increasing the sensitivity level.
- Tapping the DriveChat icon does not trigger a response
This may be caused by an unstable network connection, which prevents voice activation from working properly.
Please check your internet connection and try again.
- Unable to locate the vehicle using your phone
Please make sure that TrackHU is turned on, and that the GPS icon in the lower-left corner of the screen is solid, indicating that GPS is active.
- No sound output from the PSCD
Please check whether the current audio output mode is set to Play on Device. For more information, refer to the Audio Output section under Apps.
