Chapter 2 Camera Overview
2.1 AC-HD21F Camera Installation

Step 1: Choose a Mounting Location
Mount the AC-HD21F camera at a position suitable for your monitoring or recording needs:
- Front windshield
- Rear windshield
- Any other DIY location appropriate for capturing the desired view
Step 2: Connect the Camera to CB7
Attach the AC-HD21F camera to the extension cable, then insert the extension cable’s plug into the 2.5mm AV Port of the CB7.

Step 3: Adjust the Camera Direction
Rotate the AC-HD21F lens to the desired angle.
The rotatable lens allows flexible positioning—toward the road, cabin, or any angle required for your setup.
Step 4: Insert a TF Card into the CB7
To enable video recording, insert a TF card (up to 256GB, U3 recommended) into the CB7.
Recording will not begin if no TF card is inserted.
Important Notes:
- For stable operation, connect the AC-HD21F camera before powering on the CB7. If the DVR is connected after the CB7 is already running, please restart the device to avoid instability caused by sudden voltage fluctuations.
- Some vehicles provide less than 1A of power through the wired CarPlay/Android Auto USB port.
For these vehicles, it is recommended to use the Y-shaped power cable included in the CB7 package and connect it to the cigarette lighter socket or a fast-charging USB port (e.g., 5V/2A) for stable power supply.
