We weren't so sure that it was going to in the beginning. As we had a little bit of trouble with installation early on. But it's quite intuitive and we caught on and were able to get it to work just fine. This thing has so many features, most of which work on/in/with my vehicle and I am able to utilize in them in the vehicle. That was a concern, with my vehicle being so old, I wouldn't be able to utilize a lot of the features. But that turned out NOT to be the case. It's not terribly difficult to install once you get the hang of it- it took us about 45 minutes to an hour. It is really nice and clean looking. Modern and clean looking. And it sounds fantastic! I think the price is pretty equivalent to the product. We are thrilled with it!

I installed the ATOTO A5L 2025 Upgrade 7" Double Din Car Stereo a few weeks ago in my Toyota FJ Cruiser, and so far I'm really impressed. This unit instantly connected to wireless carplay and easily connected to Bluetooth and was ready to go. The qled screen is bright and crystal clear in any light and very responsive to touch. I also added the Atoto OBD2 adapter to utilize apps like Torque to monitor the vehicle on screen. With features like customizable gesture controls to split-screen mode, your getting all the features of more expensive head units. After installing this stereo, I went on a 2 week road trip to familiarize myself with this unit and it performed flawlessly even in many off grid mountain crossing excursions.Installation was a bit tricky for my application as I had to modify the included brackets and the brackets from the original stereo to make this fit. Modifying these brackets wasn't terribly difficult and well worth the effort as the Atoto A5L face plate fits perfectly in the 205mm stereo location without the need for those hideous filler spacers other units require. The included wiring harness made the rest of the installation straight foreword and easy to do it yourself.This is the second Atoto stereo I have used in this vehicle, and this is replacing the older A6 Toyota specific unit. So far the A5L is proving to be faster, more user friendly and has a superior screen quality & clarity. Power output is decent and fills my vehicle with quality sound through my upgraded Polk speakers. However, if I need more power/volume, Atoto has easy to install, plug and play amplifiers waiting for me.Atoto has been fantastic about providing Toyota specific sized stereo head units and I have been very pleased to find them.

There a lot of pros on this head unit so I will list them below. With all the features this is a great value!Pros:- Great looking and appears factory but enhanced- Screen is crisp and bright- Includes GPS- Includes factory harnesses but also a generic so you can install it in any vehicle it will fit- Very comprehensive DSP- Great sound- Wireless Android AutoThere are only a couple Cons:- No backup camera included- This was made for right hand drive vehicles so the volume and seek controls are opposite how they should be for left hand drive vehicles (volume on left, seek on right)

I own both an ATOTO A6PF and F7 XE in my 3rd and 4th Gen 4Runners respectively. Got the ATOTO A5L as an upgrade for the 3rd Gen 4Runner. The A5L comes with everything needed for installation in a Toyota, including wire harnesses which I had to purchase separately for the A6PF and F7 XE models. Installation is easy “plug and play” BUT the A5L is wider overall and does not fit within the 3rd Gen control panel bezel. Modifying/trimming the opening in the control panel bezel is an option, but I will likely install the A5L in the 4th Gen 4Runner (should fit, but need to wait for my son to bring the car back from school) and then install the F7 in the 3rd Gen 4Runner.I think the ATOTOs are a good “bang for your buck” for upgrading old school OEM radios for newer technology with wireless carplay. I especially like the A5L “for Toyota” because it comes with everything you need for an easy “plug and play” installation. I also like the volume knob control, microSD slot, AUX input, and USB port that my previous unit did not have.

Great unit. For the price, they give you so much. The installation manual was a bit of shorthand, but as it stated, this is for Toyota, I installed it on 2005 Scion xB, no extra parts was needed. It perfectly fits to my Scion’s dash. Connect the included harness, it took me about 45 mins, without backup camera installed. it has only 2GB of RAM, so it get sluggish once in a while but for the price, it’s not a deal breaker at all.Included GPS antenna, even I installed it inside the dash, it picks up decent signal.I couldn’t get the screen mirroring work yet, but CarPlay works.For the sound, I needed to play around the EQ setting, once it set right, it’s decent. Hopefully it will last long enough!
