I bought an ATOTO F7 model couple years ago. The screen was too reflective that I could not see the rear view camera when driving in bright daylight. This A5L new screen is brighter and much less reflective. Now I can see the rear view mirror again. Highly recommended.

First things first, the screen is amazing and the high resolution / large size make using Android Auto a breeze.The screen also is also adjustable so you can change the angle/ height which is nice to ensure good glare free view and to avoid blocking the vents to much, but you will get some blockage on most cars due to the sheer size of the screen.The volume, home, and track skip buttons are capacitive, so a little hard to do "by feel" but I appreciate track skip is a button on the device as different apps have them in different screen locations and I don't have steering wheel control on this vehicle. You can also change the colors of the capacitive buttonsSound quality is great with the factory speakers and the EQ is nice to sweeten up the audio.I haven't played with the inbuilt apps and tethering too much, as my needs are met with Android Auto, but it looks nice and I have only dabbled with the inbuilt voice assistant but my tests showed promise. You get a generous amount of DriveChat AI usage for free, but if you use it very heavy, there is a small subscription but I didn't use it that much.You can also install other android apps, and while it sounds crazy to install netflix or youtube on a car stereo, if you ever have to wait for kids to get done with sports or school, being able to catch up on a show really feels like living in the future.Installation was standard, wish I could buy a premade harness wire along with the unit, but wiring it up wasn't difficult but a premade harness would have made this a 15 minute plug n play install. .There is secondary settings menu that needs a password (3368) to access, that lets you tweak some additional settings.Cons (minor)Could not see how to change wallpaper on the standard theme, there are other themes, but I do like the standard one but would like to change wallpaper.Could not see how to change boot logo, would like to change boot logo to car logo or maybe something else.Did not include a microphone but I have a 3.5mm from previous radio.Suggestions for AtotoThis does not talk to canbus like the A6 line they sell, and that would be nice to get door status, AC control, etc.Prefer the 16pin android connection, if atoto adopted the 16 pin android cable as standard, it would open up aftermarket harnesses and possibly canbus controls.Update Zlink to allow DPI adjustments so you can "trick" android auto into a higher or lower resolution mode, as my phone doesn't send the lower "taskbar" to this headunit, but this could be an issue with my phone (samsung note20)

This thing is awesome!! Did a bench test to see if it would work good before I install it and to download any updates and apps. Like that you can move the screen around. I’ll try and add pics and videos.
