This unit is to replace my previous Atoto (FE7) in 2010 Subaru Forester and it's much better device. Screen quality is very good, boot speed is almost immediate. Screen is very responsive and have some protection so it's resistant to fingerprints, which is a big plus. Sound quality is miles better than previous head unit, even with stock Subaru speakers, it also utilizing additional tweeters much better, giving clearer treble and middle sound. Low end is a bit lacking, however that can be remediated with built-in equalizer.Call quality is also improved significantly, comparing to the previous unit.Installation was pretty easy, just had to purchase metra wiring harness and splice it together (see pictures). Takes some additional time but follow the colors and you'll be ok even if you're not really familiar with the process. After that it connects pretty easy, all other connections are pretty straight forward. I was able to partially use my metra kit brackets from previous unit, they're better fit then provided universal bracket.Unit has a lot of different functions beyond basic Android Auto/ CarPlay and allows for a lot of customizations - adding TPMS sensors, etc.I haven't used built-in 4g connectivity yes, so I'm unable to comment on the performance, however it's nice to have an option to use a head unit independently from the phone all together.I was really excited for included OBDII reader and functionality, however so far I'm not convinced, connectivity to OBD is not as stable as expected and included app is not optimized for use in a head unit, more for the phone functionality.Another con worth mentioning is that head unit has absolutely no controls besides touchscreen controls and if you don't have wheel controls - it's a becoming a long process to adjust the volume (ie form Android Auto - exit maps, exit AA, go to home screen, adjust volume, return back to AA). My previous Atoto wheel control unit is not compatible with this one, so I'll have to purchase another one - no big deal, but just be prepared.Overall, this unit provides great value for money for older cars. I definitely recommend this unit and the brand - I previously had communication with ATOTO support and they've been the most helpful./

As usual, Atoto designed another great android car stereo. The 9" screen is the perfect compromise between a big screen that blocks ends and a too small screen that's hard to read for some people. This radio is very responsive and has great features. The built in DSP makes for crisp and clear sound. The GPS antenna saves you phone battery when using the maps program (Waze and Google maps). The programmable steering wheel controls make it a perfect stock replacement.

Ive had several Atoto stereos in my vehicles, and they have always been reliable products. So when I recently decided to upgrade to a larger screen I decided to go with this model.Installation: It was a very easy install. I actually had an Atoto already installed in the Tacoma, and so I was pleasantly surprised when all the connectors from the old unit matched with the new unit. It was quite surprising to me that since the screen is out front of the truck's dash bezel, and that the unit itself is so thin, the headunit itself doesn't even protrude into the cavity of the dash. I used to sell and install car stereos in the late 90s and 2000s and you usually had to shoehorn the headunits into the dash. That being said this i a great plus for this unit.Setup: this was very straight forward as I was able to setup the steering wheel controls easily without an adapter. Another plus here is that each button can serve two functions, depending on whether there is a short or long press of the button. I was able to connect their included obd2 Bluetooth adapter to my vehicle and then to the unit itself. The included app will allow you tons of different info to be displayed on the screen. It should allow you to retrieve error codes etc as well. My phone connected to Bluetooth no problem and the android auto and nav works great.All in all, if you want a new headunit and you have a double din opening in your vehicle, this is a great choice. The only thing that you would need to be careful with-- is if your double din opening is close to other controls or ac/ heating vents. This is due to the 9" screen being larger than a typical double din opening. My trucks dash bezel has about an inch or so of clearance all the way around, so it really fit perfectly.I will update if I run into anything else. I included pictures of the before and after just to give an idea the difference in screen size.
