Decent car stereo with one big flaw.

OK. I installed this and was using for about a week and was ready to write a good review when I found a fairly big flaw.First though I'll start with install went about as expected and unit does work very well. I've tried other units like this and I've never found one that felt like it had a really solid mounting system. this one is no exception. The weight of the screen has it "jiggling" around at the end of the plastic arm mount.Now for the flaw. After about a week of use it kept coming undone from the arm and falling down while driving. Like it slides apart. It doesn't really "click" together. It just slides together and this eventually comes apart while driving.I'm able to fix it with a bit of duct tape, but that's pretty janky for the asking price. If they fix this it would be a solid 5 stars because the unit itself really does work well.3 out of 5 stars as is.

great screen great options.mount is Premier garage evweytimebi touch the screen is all off the mount. mount also fell off dash within minutes of having everything ready to go hit a small bump and fell apart again. needs a better mounting. looking for another mount now

Great way to add cameras to old car

Got this for a 1999 Honda Civic, and it was east to install, or at least that's what my son and his friends said. I see lots of dash cam videos these days, so I wanted to get one for each of our cars. This one has the dash and backup cam, which of course a 25 year old car doesn't have. Runs from the cigarette lighter, not sure if there is a more permanent power setup, but he likes the way it's set up now. Works great, comes with everything you need, even the microSD card. He's happy, so I'm happy.

Easy to Install excellent Upgrade

This car stereo was very easy to install and connected to my phone easily. It was so much better than trying to install a car stereo. It's really great like there's a phone in my car now!

Turn any old car into an updated one with this! Installation was pretty straight forward. Lots of great features. Having a back up camera is more than a luxury these days, almost can't go without one. Especially as I'm aging and my reaction time isn't as great.
