This is my third Atoto stereo, the prior units were both A6 Pro’s. While the A6’s were great the S8 pro is a far superior unit. It is much faster and more responsive to touch inputs. The screen is much brighter and offers fantastic detail for its resolution.Both the A6 and S8 improved the sound in all three of my vehicles with factory speakers. In my past experience, aftermarket radios don’t play nicely with factory speakers and Atoto has managed to nail this part. The expandability options are fantastic; with four USB A connectors your options are limitless. A nice little touch added to the S8 is the option to add a factory logo to the startup screen.The backup camera TOTO AC-HD03LR 720P Rear view Backup Camera is a nice upgrade from a single camera backup system. It adds a virtual 3D picture of the vehicles surroundings at a fraction of the cost of a multi camera setup. Torque Pro is included and with a Bluetooth OBD2 adapter you can view real-time information from your vehicle.I was able to hook up my factory SWC control to the S8 however the documentation could have been better. I was able to locate a workaround after some searching. With Subaru there are two SWC wires and the system is resistance based. I originally wired it up per the manual and it would not work. The solution was to ground one of the two wires from the factory harness. This fixed the problem and I couldn’t be happier with the functionality.I see other reviews stating that their antenna wouldn’t connect or the unit didn’t fit in their dash. This is a standard Double Din unit. A din is 180mm X 50mm and the measurements are clearly posted on the specs page. Atoto cannot include every adapter for every application out there. I had to purchase an adapter for my Subaru antenna wire. I also purchased a mounting kit from a known manufacture which had to be slightly modified to fit in my vehicle. Take time, measure and research to find out what mounting and connection accessories are required for your particular application. I would also recommend to have it professionally installed.Finally I would like to touch on Atoto’s customer support. My S8 had a few quarks as I would call them but none of them were deal breakers. The EQ would randomly change sound profiles and firmware updates are not easy to find. I did sign up on Atoto’s website and registered my stereo a few months ago. Out of the blue Fannie from customer service reached out and asked how my experience was. I explained my issues were addressed the same day. It sometimes took me a day or two to respond to their questions but they always responded same day. Every issue I had was addressed. New firmware was sent and the option to turn off gestures from the gesture app solved the EQ’s random changes. I also asked if the possibility of having the rear view camera act as a rear dash cam and that suggestion was sent to the engineers for possible implementation.I am 100% satisfied with the S8 Pro and Atoto’s fantastic customer service. I highly recommend their products and will most certainly be purchasing from them again.

I've ordered S8 Ultra. Installations were straight forward. There are videos on YT if needed help. Sounds and video quality are super! Altho I had a defective display which it stop responding to touch but Amy, ATOTO support, contineously helped me resolved my issue. I've also purchased front and rear cameras both are great. 5 Stars! Perfect. Thanks Amy!

I installed my S8 10.1 premium in A 07 Honda Ridgeline. My suggestion to ATOTO, that they should make the screen detachable as the BOSS BE10 acp. I originally purchased the boss radio but was not pleased with the operational features. It was extremely easy to install in the former radio space,then you replace the dash trim, Then you connect the screen to the head unit. This prevents you from having to modify the dash trim. I do not recommend other companies that have a detachable screen for they have a ribbon cable to attach the display they are much too fragile . Please check out the Boss model I mentioned above. I also had utilized a SWC switch and it would not work for me, so I did have to modify my wiring harness and direct wire to my steering wheel controls. I was able to accomplish this. It is my belief that if ATOTO makes the display detachable it'll be a better sell for the reason stated above, and the display can be taken out for security..nothing there nothing to steal. One other advantage is that is you wish to add different cameras etc it will be extremely easy to upgrade . The way I had to install it would be very difficult. It is realized that this may add expense to the unit but I believe that people will pay the extra cost. I have just begun to work with the unit now that the install process has been completed and so far I am happy with the units operation the unit boots almost immediately,the touch screen reacts fast to the touch. Setting up and programming the Radio, SWC , and connection to Bluetooth, WiFi all is done with ease. Having Google play pre-installed is a plus and is easy to download your favorite apps. This unit has a qled Display and playing videos via Netflix,You Tube is smooth and quite crisp I am still getting acclimated using the unit so I will update as time goes on. I will most definitely recommend this unit to folks.

Really well made, great sound quality over my factory HU. Used the pre amp outputs into my factory Infinity amp on my 2005 mitsubishi Galant and it sounds amazing. I took off a star as the screen has some visible issues. There's a pretty big section on the screen where it looks like the display has peeled off from the touch screen panel, not willing to tear it out of the car to send it back but it should have been caught in quality control.

I bought this stereo after a couple of months of researching this type of unit. It arrived quickly and when I received it, I was absolutely blown away by the quality and the fit and finish. My first thought, after owning several Alpine and Kenwood units, was I just can’t believe this unit was not only affordable, but twice the quality of the major brands. I took a chance on this unit and it really paid off. I did the install with ease and it worked flawlessly out of the box. I had a slight problem with my Bluetooth volume so I sent an email to customer service. Much to my surprise, I received a prompt reply with concise instructions on how to enter the factory settings and correct the problem (Thanks Lancey!). I have since contacted them again to learn how to change my background wallpaper. Again I received a quick response with the instructions. This unit exceeded my expectations. I read some earlier reviews that mentioned bugs and other slight problems. Atoto must have corrected all of those issues because my unit has zero issues. I would recommend this unit and all accessories for it including the amazing backup camera and Bluetooth obd unit. If you are on the fence about buying an Atoto unit, don’t be. It is an absolute steal for under $400. Thanks Atoto.
