Solder SAME colors together.ATOTO AC-HD02LR 720P Rearview Camera w Live Rearview, Reverse view, HD, Night Vision / Waterproof.Installation instructions:FIRST, go to ATOTO icon Settings.. Camera Settings..Rear Camera Input must be turned ON (or won’t werk), Parking Assist Lines ON. PIC...SECOND, Layout long cable (yellow dongle w pink&red wires at radio/front).Back work: Install camera (I “dremel” a halfmoon at hatch door mechanism for cam wire path)Next, connect the two dongles (yellow video & red pwr) from the camera to same color on the long cable.Next, locate backup lamp...Turn car OFF, turn ignition to ACC mode, shift in reverse, backup lamp... lights up). Next, Car OFF. I have two white w blk stripe wires (grounds) and one red w blue stripe wire (power) going to my backup lamp....picWith car OFF. Splice the PINK wire into backup lamp power wire (ensure metal to metal). Next, wrap copper wire of black ground under a bolt. Next, carefully fish the long cable (thru hatch hinge/ removed rubber boot..tight), then tuck under ceiling trim..PIC, then down the hatch door jamb (driver side)..tucking under black rubber door jam gasket, then under trim along floor carpet to sliding door, I removed trim pieces at sliding & drivers doors (fed wire thru trim panel channel using HF fish sticks $9), then under trim & behind carpet of driver floor. Finally fished up to radio (plenty of wire length for this van).. Insert yellow dongle into RCIN on radio. Splice red wire into the red ACC wire harness.**Next, join the PINK wire (from the backup lamp) radio end of long cable to the PINK trigger wire off the radio harness. (I used HF red, guillotine style quick connects $7/ 50ct for connections)TEST: with car OFF, turn ignition to ACC mode & shift to reverse. Use a voltmeter (cheapest HF variety will do) to check 12v voltage at the backup lamp (red lead to metal guillotine on splice, blk to ground) I only had 10.8v. And check again at the radio, PINK should show same voltage. PIC...**TEST2: with car OFF, turn ignition to ACC mode & shift to reverse. Prior to joining PINKs at the radio side..if you touch the PINK trigger wire off the radio to the ACC splice guillotine..the backup cam should activate.For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal LIFE. The quality of the picture is pretty blurry and washed out, but it seems to work fine enough.Watch the bare wire connection points on this the length of removed shielding was very short, and I had to pull apart parts of the car again to get back to them to rewire the connection points.Figuring out how to route the connections from the outside of my vehicle to the inside, and then how to pull apart the water inside to hide the wiring to the dash was it’s whole own adventure. But that will be different for everyone.I had no worries about the length of wire from trunk to dash, and ended up with a few feet of additional cord I had to tuck into the dash.I don’t know if it’s the Atoto F7XE or the camera, but when putting the vehicle into reverse it sometimes needs 1-3 seconds to start displaying the video input from the camera.

this was very straight forward to install from a top level perspective. Mount camera, tie in wires to reverse camera, then plug in to head unit and tie in other end of reverse signal into the harness.I have a 2004 mazda 3 hatch back. My reverse lights are on the hatch, but the plate is on the bumper. I ended up routing my camera up through the grommet in the trunk floor that housed the wiring from the license plate lights. The pink and black wires for the reverse light were much too short, so i ended up soldering additional wiring to make it longer. I didn't want to run wires across the car into the hatch, so i ended up lowering the headliner and tapped into the reverse lights in the ceiling AFTER they jump back through the rubber hose going between the hatch and body. made it much cleaner.Camera responds fairly quickly. It is a bit darker than i'd have liked but still quite clear. You can tweak and adjust the guidelines which is handy if you have your camera mounted offset, or its crooked and you're unable to straighten it out. I like that you can also turn on the camera while driving, though guidelines don't show. Handy if you want to check the plate of someone tailing too close to you.The only thing i would have changed is making the reverse signal lights come out further up the wiring because my reverse lights are so much further away from the mount point. but i guess it won't be a problem for vehicles that have reverse lights AND license plate in their trunk lid.

 The camera is great but you will need to ensure that the pink wire between the camera/reverse signal and the radio is as short as possible. After many weeks working with ATOTO the problem was fixed and this and the radio combination is working as designed

I installed this camera along with an Atoto A6 Karlink radio in my 2017 Jeep Wrangler. It was hard to see behind me as I run oversize tires and the rear mounted spare blocks most of the rear window. Also because of the spare I had to mount the camera near the left side of the Jeep on the license plate holder. I was surprised that I can still get a good view of behind me when backing up. The install was pretty easy as the wiring is contained in a small cable that made routing through the Jeep pretty easy. Wires were well labeled which really helps when you are color blind. The video quality is excellent and I would recommend this camera comes to others who feel the need.
