I put this on my 2004 VTX 1300 C works pretty nice with the S8 premium 7 inch bad to the bone ATOTO radio that I bought for my bike the controls aren’t very quick responsive now and then they’re a little sketchy that’s the reason for the four-star but other than that. they do what they say it will do and works perfect for what I need. You can remove it it also comes with a spare battery and sticky pad for the price it’s OK You can strap it to anything I strapped it to my bike mirror by my left hand

First of all it worked with the old receiver on the stereo, no need to remove the head unit. The minor differences - the rubber strap is thinner and the plastic hooks seem to be less robust. On the positive side the remote has a magnet holding the unit to the mounting device. Not sure I like this or not as I have knock it off while driving.

I have an S20 FE and can get the voice assistant to come up but it will not dial out which is a shame. I know you can download and use other apps on the head unit for this feature but what's the point, you still can't dial out with the steering wheel remote. I have spent hours looking for a solution but haven't found one. Also on the newest version of the remote the back easily falls off. I can't tell you how many times this thing has hit the floor while driving. The solution for me was to drill a tiny hole in the back cover and use a super small screw to latch the back and keep it from sliding off. It did fix the problem but I shouldn't have needed to do this. The newer version definitely works better than the old but Atoto needs to be fix the center "mic" problem on Samsung phones and the sliding back cover.

This is a LITERAL life-saver! With the s8 premium’s touch panel volume and touch-screen controls, I was distracted from driving when needing to adjust volume several “clicks” up or down, to mute, to pause and unpause, etc. GET THIS AND KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE ROAD! Just move your thumb slightly to do all these and to answer and disconnect calls, skip to next track, etc…..all without looking away from the road!

UPDATE April 2 2022I designed and 3D printed this blue clasp that when attached to the remote will firmly secure and make it almost impossible for the wheel to fly off because of lack of support to the base (see review below)... I am making this 3d printed file FREE on thingiverse as "ATOTO Clasp"...you will only have to find someone with a 3d printer willing to print it...March 31 2022Works great as a hand remote...that what I'm finding...but don't expect this to stay on your steering wheel mounted...TIP: Mount the rubber brace to the steering wheel and use this as a "remote control hub" however BEFORE driving you want to hold the detachable "remote" in your right hand or in the cup holder...you will probably flick it off while turning the wheel around corners and with my or your luck flick it right out the window...when back in PARK, put the remote back in its hub...this is how I only have found a way to use it properly and couldnt find anywhere else to mount it...It has a magnet that attaches to the mount and it will come off very easy when attached to the steering wheel...even if you tape THAT on tightly, the back cover will come off the remote and it will again find itself on the ground or out your window?.....possibly....looks 10/10....functionality9/10....mounting....3/10
