After having the head unit for a few days I'm loving it. I will list the pros and a few cons I noticed.Pros:-Android software is easy to use and has tons of -apps.-You can share Internet with it from my phone by wifi, Bluetooth, and USB.-It has android auto-Seems to have better sound quality than my factory radio.-easy to play music from my phone over Bluetooth-my steering wheel buttons work after installing an adapter.-touch screen is very responsiveCons- the buttons on the bottom are kinda hard to push because the head unit is slightly recessed on the install kit. Doesn't really affect me since ally steering wheel buttons work.Overall I think is is amazing head unit for the cost.

I've only bench tested to make sure it could run the apps I would like to. It comes with many apps preinstalled. The official app store sees this stereo as a tablet and every app I downloaded worked as it should with just one exception. There was one app that requires a compass and it turns out that this Android stereo receiver does not have an internal compass. One USB cable is labelled for phone and the other is labelled for storage. An SDR dongle and TV tuner dongle both worked on either USB input. An xbox360 gamepad which uses xinput did not work, but I think a direct input or bluetooth gamepad would. ATOTO also sells adapters to use one of the USB outputs as an HDMI or RCA video output. A USB hub can be used, but may need to be externally powered depending on the devices connected. Out of the box, over 9GB of the storage area is already used and the great majority of that is system storage which cannot be deleted. Downloaded maps for my preferred map program took up another 9GB, so there is still plenty of room for other apps, but I'd plan on dedicating one of those USB cables to media storage. The radio includes some brackets which may get you out of having to buy a mounting kit for your vehicle. You will at the very least need to purchase a wiring harness adapter and possibly a trim plate specific to your vehicle. The only line level output is for a subwoofer. Two stereo speaker level to line level converters are included. Installation is the same as any other stereo, with the added twist of the GPS and LTE antennas as well as the USB cables if you would like them accessible. There are inputs for front and rear cameras as well as an aux video (and audio) input. While I haven't installed it yet, so far I am impressed. The screen is clear and the touchscreen is responsive. Options such as being able to adjust the volume mix between music and navigation and muting when you back up (optional) demonstrate that this isn't just a generic tablet connected to an amp for the speakers. Everything is well thought out and has provisions for you to utilize the system and leverage the android apps in just about any way you can think of.

Great Upgrade to an old truck. Now my F350 has Bluetooth, WIFI, android auto/Apple carplay, handsfree calling, etc.... This was a massive upgrade to old truck. Screen looks great, sounds is fantastic, features give my old truck new life. Install went well with a little trail and error, found the instructions to be a little vague or general to handle one manual for multiple models but if you take your time it goes together.I've been running an S8 in my 2002 Ford Excursion and Love it and so it was time to make the upgrade to the 1 ton.Highly recommend Atoto products and quality. Great value for features.

UPDATE 2 more weeks later: The talksim prepaid sim card worked to give me LTE data on t-mobile. The APNs auto populated from the SIM card. And the atoto worked as a wifi hotspot. So, if you are on t-mobile or get a sim that uses t-mobile, then you can get LTE data.It's a wonderful device. I can use android auto. We just did a trip and used carplay with my wife's iPhone. And the kids can connect their tablets over bluetooth to share music. I have the steering wheel controls how I want them on a 2004 silverado. And I have the USB in the glove box with a high capacity thumbdrive with my mp3s. It's kind of amazing what you get for the price point.UPDATE 2 weeks later: I ended up re-ordering this radio after trying some other head units. It's nice and having full android with app store is great.That said, it will NOT WORK WITH AT&T subscriptions. The IMEI says "unsupported device" on AT&T's site. I tried swapping a sim card from a tablet into the atoto and setting up the APNs, but I could only get bars and never data. Further, AT&T flagged that sim and blocked its data. So, I had to call them to get my old tablet unblocked and back on the network. There are preset APNs for T-Mobile and the T-Mobile site says "partially supported." So, T-mobile might work. I'm trying a prepaid SIM card from TalkSim (ASIN B0D73RG84F).I'll keep trying to get the radio on the cellular network. But even in the absence of that data connection, I really like it as a head unit.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I wanted this to work SO SO bad. It's a really nice device.The flaw for me is you cannot add APNs and hence cannot get a cellular data connection.Problem 1: AT&T does not recognize the IMEI as being supported (on website and in a store). That's fine I can use an old or fake IMEI to get a sim card and manually add an APN. That's solvable.Problem 2: The settings are really buggy and the APNs do not persist. I put in an AT&T sim card and got the 4G and bars icons, but without the right APN there is no data. I tried using an AT&T APN from another AT&T tablet and the APN from the AT&T documentation. They would never stay in the settings, even after reboots and various methods of adding. In North America (USA) If you are on T-Mobile there are default configurations in the APN settings. I tried a lot of angles. It will probably work on T-Mobile out of the box. If you have another carrier like AT&T or Verizon that is not in the default APNs list, you will not be able to add the APNs to get a data connection.I worked with Atoto support via there website and they were very responsive within the constraints of timezones. I gave them all the technical details about the bugs and carrier bands. Hopefully, they fix this with a firmware update.
