Chapter 2 — Unit Installation
2.1 Mounting Accessories (Optional)
- Movable Mounting Brackets

- Double-DIN Side Brackets

- Mounting Screws

Note: These mounting accessories are used as needed, depending on the vehicle dashboard and installation configuration.
2.2 Installation Process
Step 1 — Install the Double-DIN Side Brackets
Install the Double-DIN Side Brackets on the left and right sides of the installation frame, then secure them with the appropriate screws.

Step 2 — Install the Movable Mounting Brackets
Install the Movable Mounting Brackets onto the installation frame, then secure each side with screws.

Note: Adjust the bracket position and screw mounting points according to the actual dashboard installation requirements.
Step 3 — Install the GPS Antenna
Install the GPS antenna on the vehicle's dashboard or parcel shelf.

Note:
1. Do not place the GPS antenna above sensors or vents on the vehicle dashboard.
2. Clean and dry the mounting surface before securing the antenna.
3. Mount the antenna flat and level.
4. On some vehicles with signal blocking glass, the antenna must be installed on
the exterior of the car.
Step 4 — Complete Wiring and Install the Head Unit
For detailed wiring instructions, refer to Chapter 3 — Wiring Connection Instructions before proceeding.
After all wiring connections are completed, power on the head unit and verify that all required functions operate properly.
Once the functional check is complete, carefully place the assembled head unit into the dashboard and secure it in position.

Important: Do not permanently secure the head unit until the wiring and basic functions have been checked.
Chapter 3 — Wiring Connection Instructions
This section explains the functions and recommended connection points for each wire and interface on the ATOTO head unit. Make all wiring connections carefully. If you are unsure about any connection, consult a qualified professional installer.
Important Notes Before Wiring
- Insulate all unused input/output wires individually with electrical tape, heat-shrink tubing, or suitable insulated crimp connectors to prevent short circuits.
- Do not use wire nuts for vehicle wiring connections.
- If the fuse needs to be replaced, use only a fuse of the same type and rating: 15 A.
- Connect the Dimmer Input wire to the vehicle's parking-light/illumination circuit if automatic night-time dimming is required.
- Connect the Reverse Input wire to the vehicle's reverse-light positive wire so the rear-view camera can switch on automatically when the transmission is shifted into reverse.
- For vehicles that require a third-party steering wheel control (SWC) adapter, contact a qualified installer or ATOTO Support at support@atotoglobal.com to confirm a compatible adapter for your specific vehicle.
Important: Disconnect the vehicle battery's negative terminal before making or modifying wiring connections whenever appropriate for the vehicle. Follow the vehicle manufacturer's service precautions, especially for vehicles equipped with airbags, retained accessory power, or other electronically controlled systems.
Part 1: Main Power Harness Introduction(16-Pin Connector)

PIN No. | Color | Label | Description |
PIN1 | White | Front Left(+) | Front Left speaker wire (Positive) |
PIN2 | White Black | Front Left(-) | Front Left speaker wire (Negative) |
PIN3 | Grey | Front Right(+) | Front Right speaker wire (Positive) |
PIN4 | Grey Black | Front Right(-) | Front Right speaker wire (Negative) |
PIN5 | Orange Black | Steering Wheel Key(+) | For analog resistive SWC, use PIN 5 or PIN 14 together with PIN 8. Some vehicles may require all three pins. The 3.5 mm SWC jack provides these signals for connection to a compatible third-party SWC interface. If the vehicle uses digital SWC signals, a compatible digital-to-analog interface is required. |
PIN6 | Pink | Rear Camera(+) | The wire will provide a signal to a head unit when the vehicle is in reverse. This will trigger the screen to show the video from the rearview camera. If it is improperly connected, the head unit may display a black blank screen or other issues even if the vehicle is not in reverse. |
PIN7 | Red | Accessory / ignition(+) | Usually, it is shorted for ACC and supplies +12V power to a head unit and other accessories, only when the car is ignited. |
PIN8 | Black | Chassis Ground(-) | It is also shorted for GND and finally goes to the vehicle's metal chassis and body. |
PIN9 | Purple Black | Rear Right(-) | Rear Right speaker wire (Negative) |
PIN10 | Purple | Rear Right(+) | Rear Right speaker wire (Positive) |
PIN11 | Green | Rear Left(+) | Rear Left speaker wire (Positive) |
PIN12 | Green Black | Rear Left(-) | Rear Left speaker wire (Negative) |
PIN13 | Blue | Power Antenna(+) | This wire provides a power supply to the signal booster of the car antenna. |
PIN14 | Brown Black | Steering Wheel Key#(+) | For analog resistive SWC, use PIN 5 or PIN 14 together with PIN 8. Some vehicles may require all three pins. The 3.5 mm SWC jack provides these signals for connection to a compatible third-party SWC interface. If the vehicle uses digital SWC signals, a compatible digital-to-analog interface is required. |
PIN15 | Orange | Dimmer / illumination (+) | When it is night and headlights are turned on, car stereo screen illumination is dimmed. |
PIN16 | Yellow | Constant/Battery Power(+) | It provides permanent +12V power from the battery, improper connection may lead to boot failure or system memory issues. |
Part 2: Main Ports Introduction
Module 1: Left-Side Ports

- FM/AM Antenna Input (FM-ANT)
Connect the vehicle's FM/AM radio antenna cable to this port for radio signal reception.
Note:
Depending on the vehicle, an antenna adapter may be required. If the factory antenna uses an active amplifier, make sure the antenna amplifier power wire is connected correctly.
- GPS Antenna Input
Connect the included GPS antenna to this port for satellite positioning and navigation.

*For best reception, install the GPS antenna in an open position with minimal obstruction from metal parts.
- Optical S/PDIF Output
Provides a digital optical audio signal for connection to an external amplifier or audio processor that supports optical S/PDIF input.
