This is a great fun product. However, it is also perfect to use as a warning sign too.It has so many features. The quality is excellent. It is flexible yet very strong. The cable is super long so it can be moved to various places. It can be adhered to a surface using the sticky pads that are supplied. However, my son has attached touch and close tape to the banner and this gives him the ability to move the sign to where he wants it.At the moment, my son has this on the wall just outside of his bedroom. He gets fed up with me trying to talk to him when he has his headset on or is steaming or in group chat. So, he puts a message on this to let me know he is busy. And when he is not busy he changes the animation frequently.Another scenario is when he is iracing and cannot hear me talking to him, with this he lets me know. I do not disturb him until he changes the message =)He loves it. He has such fun with it and he has shown his friends its capabilities. So far, everyone has been impressed, especially me. I no longer get in trouble! He moves it behind him when he streams so anyone viewing his channel can see it.Lots of people have asked about it as they agree with us that it is super cool.He has not used it in the car yet as he likes it where it is.My son is autistic and has ADHD and he finds this LED sign fascinating. He is getting used to the app but finds personalising a no go, however there is plenty of content for him to choose from.I would happily purchase another of these.A great talking point and focal point too.Downloading and connecting to the app was simple. It says download from Google or Apple Store using the QR code, however, It redirects you to their website to download. I am not happy with 3rd party apps. The voice controlled on the app works well.I would recommend this to anyone wanting a really great LED banner!
The box to this is a lot smaller than I imagined, however, everything is packaged well. The sign is only small at 13.7 x 4” but it is plenty for a car sign in the rear window. It is nice and clear and bright, the app is easy to navigate and the voice recognition works ok but you need to have a quiet car (and passengers) so not always the clearest. At £99.90 I think it is a fair price for this type of product.
The AI voice control makes programming messages super easy, and the customisation options are fantastic. The display is bright and clear, perfect for attracting attention in any setting.Setting it up was straightforward, and the build quality feels durable. Whether for business promotions or personal use, this sign is a great way to make an impact. The programmable features allow for dynamic messaging, making it incredibly versatile.Highly recommend this for anyone looking to enhance their advertising with a modern, eye-catching display!
This LED sign is supplied rolled up in a compact cardboard box. It comes with 2 car static cling films that are attached to the rear windscreen and a sheet containing 4 strips of double-sided tape. Two strips of tape can be used to attach the LED strip to the cling film on the car windscreen. This avoids the risk of leaving a glue deposit on the windscreen when the LED sign is removed. The LED strip is powered by a 16 foot long cable, which comes with a USB-A plug as well as a UBS-A to USB-C converter.I plugged in a standard USB-C power supply and it started flashing ATOTO in alternating white and red letters. The instructions state to avoid AC adapters that provide > 5V or > 3A so I did not use my 140 W MacBook power supply (which can supply up to 20 V at 7A) and used a dedicated 5 V wall adapter instead.I then plugged in the AI Voice Assistant. When I said “Hi Glow” first, it would recognise phrases such as “Have a nice day” and “Wow Nice Car” and some of the other 14 phrases which were printed on the plastic sheet that came with the LED sign.To get beyond the presets from the Voice Assistant, you need to download the manual using the QR code or weblink and select CI-VIALD19. The manual describes two Apps that can be used to customise the information on the display, Swiftstone and Loy Play. The Swiftsone App has a 1 star rating so I decided to use the Loy Play app instead. The app started promptly and noticed a system upgrade, which it proceeded to download. The app found the display and showed a green light which indicated it had connected successfully. This gave me instant access to some nicely designed display ideas, which are listed by popularity or date order. It was easy to use the app to type in my own text and configure colours, font and animation. Anyone who has put a text box into a a PowerPoint presentation will be familiar with the basic concepts. I was impressed that the app reliably connected to the LED sign and was intuitive to use. This display sits perfectly in our dining room, where we will be using it for New Year’s eve party to welcome in 2025 using a lovely, bright animated message. It is a little trickier placing it in the car, just because of the challenge of running cables neatly from the power sockets to the rear screen in my estate car.
Fun piece of kit. Full colour. I've use it to quickly put up a sign at events.I first used it out in the public at a live gig - to showcase the name of our band, whilst we were performing. The equipment is easy to use. The included instructions provide two options for getting messages onto the device. 1) a link to a website where you can download the phone software. 2. download the app from the Android App Store (its called download the "LOY PLAY"), which I prefer to installing via a software link, given there's a bit of certainty about what you're installing and less likely to have security issues with accidently installing the wrong package file. The user interface is intuitive - simply plug in the device with the supplied (very long) USB-C cable, and it will connect to your phone wirelessly. There's a wealth of display colours and options available, for any text. And you can even add your own images, if you wanted to.Have a look in the video to see what I programmed in to showcase our band, "The Masqueraiders" at the gig we had. I simply attached the sign to the front of my drum kit, and it was a great way to showcase our band's name, and the event itself.
