✅ Punti di forzaFunzionalità e connettività elevateIl modello S8G1104MS supporta Internet via 4G LTE integrato, Wi-Fi dual-band, Bluetooth avanzato, oltre a CarPlay wireless, Android Auto wireless e MirrorLink. Ad esempio:“the damn thing will completely wipe itself… and ATOTO… slammed the door in my face regarding the warranty.”Reddit– Un altro utente:“Bluetooth audio quality is absolutely dreadful … update two separate firmwares from ATOTO …”RedditQuesto suggerisce che anche se l’hardware è valido, l’esperienza può dipendere molto dal firmware, dagli aggiornamenti e dal supporto post-vendita. Budget totale incluso montaggio, eventuali adattatori, telecamere aggiuntive.
I have been using ATOTO products for nearly a decade and this new s8 packs a ton of high quality features into small package.1 - The QLED display is the most noticable upgrade after initial install. Its brighter, crisper, and that makes all your android apps that much more enjoyable to use.2 - The new sound coming out of this unit along with the DSP controls is by far my favoirte upgrade on this unit. It picks up where other android units leave behind, even the previous s8 ultra. The level of customization for real audio heads like me is a gamchanger for such a shallow profile double-din head unit. The output is also noticeably louder to both my amps at likely around 1.5X from that of my previous S8, meaning you wont need to add a seprate EQ ior signal processor to get LOUD.3 - The Gen4 is also the most responsive of the S line to date. Most noticeably for me was the CarPlay connection. In less than 5 seconds after connecting my iPhone via bluetooth, CarPlay automatically initiated and was up and running. I've seen factory units in 2026 vehicles take considerably longer than this unit.If you are in the market for a top tier head unit and wont the most value for your dollar, then dont hesitate to pick this gen4 s8 up right now. No other big name brand even comes close to the value you get per dollar in comparison.
This fits perfectly in my 94 Oldsmobile cutlass supreme just leaving perfect room for the ac unit controller. Definitely makes the car feel modern compared to the stock headunit that only had a cassette player and for the price I can not complain, apple CarPlay takes it all to the next next level as now my phone is completely able to play my music and maps easily
I bought the ATOTO A5L with the physical buttons to install in my 2004 Toyota Sequoia and I am very impressed with the unit. This is the 3d head unit upgrade on this car, 1st upgrade was a 6 inch Panasonic Nex which was excellent but screen was just too small, 2nd upgrade was to a 10 inch ATOTO S8 - but screen had too much glare and not bright enough. to see clearly in daylight. The A5L is definitely better with newer UI and brighter screen, still feature packed although it only has one bluetooth connection and has 2GB RAM, but it was the least money I paid out of the 3! Apple CarPlay connects quickly and flawlessly, and it shows 15 apps (see 2nd photo). My USB webcam DVR works great with it. Has a front accessible USB and SD card slot. Steering wheel key programming was easy. Has built in front mics (left and right) plus a mic input in the back. They also provide you a dozen different UI to choose from to not get bored. What I like:- Big bright screen- Large physical buttons- Screen can tilt and slide- Robust system setup (password 3368)- Allows control of the amp line output!- Different UI/home screen to choose fromWhat I don't like:- Screen not dimmed enough even in lowest setting (which system setup allow you to set a dimmer setting)- Screen tilt and movement is too limited (I wish that it was a design like PLZ mp-106 unit which had much greater screen movement can easily detach)Overall, I feel this is the best unit out there for the price. I love it and I highly recommend it.
This is a review of the ATOTO S8 Gen4 11.5 inch headunit. I have owned several Atoto headunits and they have always performed well for me and this one looks to be no exception. I was looking for something with a larger screen and I have to say it's almost ridiculous the size difference is vs my old 7" double din screen. It was so large in fact that it did cover up the factory clock in my 2014 tacoma. It also covered up the hazard light switch. Fortunately, the headunits included bracket seems to give you some adjustability in how far it sticks out of the dash. This was necessary in my install to make the hazards available. Along with the large screen which is nice for the navigation, this unit has something not a lot of headunits have these days-- a large rotary volume control! I really appreciate this feature, the opposite side is for track fwd/rev which is also nice.My Tacoma has steering wheel controls and another great thing about the Atoto is the ability to not only program the steering wheel buttons without an expensive adapter, but also give each button a dual function depending on short or long presses. The headunit also comes with the Torque app and using my Bluetooth OBD2 reader it can give me engine details and even error codes. My previous headunit being an Atoto as well made my installation super easy as each generation seems to use the same harnesses. I had the old one out and the new one in in minutes! For connectivity, I use Bluetooth mainly and use the headunits app that autostarts android auto. I do also connect it to my home wifi to do updates or download offline maps in case I want to use something other than android auto. Although it does have cellular connectivity, I do not plan on implementing it.One last thing I thought was interesting and I might add at some point is the DVR functionality. It looks like you can use both the headunits storage or external storage using their Atoto camera. In short here are the pros and cons I've found on this headunit so far:Pros:Ease of installRotary volume controlMultiple inputs for camerasHuge screen with good touch controlsSteering wheel controlsCons:Depending on your vehicle it may cover up things you don't want to. I think it works great in any 2nd gen toyota tacoma however. Please see the included pics.If anything changes, or needs to be added, I will do so.
