A big improvement from their A2 head. Installation is easy with everything clearly tagged as well as colour coded. Had more trouble with the third party adaptor. Love how light the head is now as well. Unit starts up quite quickly. Same is true for switching to Apple car play. Took a couple of attempts to get it to remember the wifi and connect automatically but that is working good now. Have to use the wireless car play as it didn’t include the tethering cord. Only have FM stations on the radio app. The one AM station is the local one I don’t use. Probably an app issue. But I have the app for the station I like to listen too. Google maps (with downloaded map) works good with the attached gps antenna. The backup camera is also very good quality and like that it’s also color at night. Overall I am well pleased with how the unit fits and works, And how Atoto’s quality has improved in the last several years. Not that it was bad before.

This product far exceeds its expectations. I received this on New Years Eve and installed it right away. It's important to note that you should ensure to get the proper adaptors, interface, mounting kit and wiring harness compatible with your vehicle to ensure you get the full potential of this unit and a seamless install without cutting into your factory wiring harness. Always consult a professional when dealing with anything electrical if you're unsure.I installed this in a GMC Sierra, which already had bluetooth and steering wheel controls from factory. The harness provided with the unit was labelled in detail and that made wiring it up to the new harness and interface super easy and all features worked correctly after install. The back up camera came with more than enough cable to install it at the back of a full size pickup and functions well with a clear picture to see what's behind you when backing up. The GPS functions correctly and shows my position the same as my phone. I have not used the TrackHU app but it seems like a good feature for overall security of your vehicle.This unit runs off of an Android operating system that functions well. It has great touch screen reaction, clear picture both during day and night driving. You can play music through bluetooth, radio or any music app you use, like Spotify and there also is a USB port included that allows you to attach a storage device. You will require a Google account to access the Google Play store to add new apps and update existing apps. This unit has wifi capabilities via a small antenna integrated into the wiring harness. I have connected to the internet from my phone via hotspot and also my home wifi when parked in my driveway. I also use the Apple Car Play feature that gives me access to my iPhone including messages, map, screen mirroring and other supported apps while driving. Phone calls are clear and I could be heard without issues by the person on the other end of the call.The playback sound quality is the same if not a little better than the factory sound. The equalizer is more advanced, allowing for fine tuning to get the sound desired for the type of music you're listening to. I did not connect the unit to an amplifier and speakers/subwoofer but the harness provided will make that an easy install.Still many features on this unit to explore and I'm sure it won't disappoint. I am familiar with ATOTO as I installed the A6 in my other vehicle in 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about that unit. It was an easy decision to upgrade my outdated stereo in my truck the ATOTO A5L.In my opinion this product or any ATOTO product will not disappoint.

Atoto A5 Lite double dinI got this unit to be installed in a 90's era Honda. I wanted to have the ability to use navigation, hands free/blue tooth phone connectivity (something my stock car radio did not have)I didn't want to hack up or cut my dash or wires, the size of this unit being double din should just replace my stock OEM radio. For this reason I bought a vehicle specific radio wiring harness, and double din mounting kit for installation. Not wanting to make any permanent changes, having the wiring harness adaptor was the perfect solution.The Atoto A5 wiring harness had every wire labelled, all I had to do was match the labelled wire to the corresponding wires on the harness adaptor. Once all the wires were connected, the stock radio was removed the wiring harness plugged into the car's existing wiring. Turn on the ignition and the A5 powered up without any issues.The first thing you will notice is how bright and crisp the screen on the A5. This does not look like a budget low end radio, the display is incredibly sharp, and the screen is very smooth, responsive.Connecting my phone was the main feature that I needed for this radio, set up using my iPhone (Apple Carplay) was a breeze. Once the A5 connected to my phone Apple Carplay popped up and navigation, messages, phone was all on the screen.Checked a few locations on Goggle Maps using ACP, and the system is now exactly like using your phone, quick and responsive.Made a test call, just to see how it would sound in the car. The incoming sound was just as clear as using my phone. Messages and everything else seemed to work, as expected no delays, no lag.Being familiar with the Atoto head units, as I installed a A6 PF in my other car back in 2022. I've had nothing but good things to say about that unit, and still use it til today. The Atoto customer support was very helpful in the past, when it came time to upgrading the radio in this car getting another Atoto was the only choice.Overall the system is easy to use, the A5 has a lot of features to customize the sound, display (themes, colour illumination, brightness)Setting up the radio, is fairly straight forward, sound is very clear, and for the low level on the volume I could already tell the sound is louder than my stock radio. One nice feature is the RDS on screen display for the radio station and title of the song, something my old stock radio did not do.The buttons across the bottom edge of the radio have a raised edge, so you know your touching the button, when you actually press the button there is a "solid" touch confirmation. The physical sound, and feedback from the touch makes the A5 unit feel like Atoto actually put some thought into each interaction with the A5. The buttons, feel solid, just press down as intended, similar to using a keyboard.Another factor to installing the Atoto A5 was that I wanted the radio to fit in the car's interior. Not look like it was just attached to the dashboard. This being an older car, parts are becoming hard to come by, so this radio had to fit the double din location and look like it came with the car.I'm glad to say with a little bit of fiddling and micro adjustments, I was able to use the stock double din brackets from the stock radio and mount the A5 with the hardware provided to make it fit the way I wanted. This being an older car the radio is mounted low in the dash, the fit in the double din location was perfect without any issues, the radio seems to fit in with the style of the interior.One feature that I feel is probably the best thing about this Atoto A5, is that fact the radio just turns on the moment you place your key into the ignition. The system is just "ON", there is no delay, no waiting for boot up, you get in the car and the radio turns on, the phone connects without any prompts, or issues, the system is ready to use.This is probably the best thing about the Atoto A5 unit.Another benefit with this Atoto A5, is the ability to update the system with OTA software updates. Using the settings menu, you can check the status of your system and if needed follow the prompts to update the software. Connecting to the my house wifi was the first, step. Once in the settings menu it's easy enough to navigate through the different options.There's allot of features packed in this Atoto A5 unit, connectivity and sound quality have been better than expected. The fit and finish of the system is just what I was expecting with the Atoto, in my opinion this is the only brand of android radio to consider when looking at upgrading your entertainment system.

Got this for my 2016 Honda Accord, got it installed and I must say it is great. Very clear screen, touch is very responsive. Camera quality is on par with stock. Clear sound. Reads my messages out loud and I can respond back using voice. Very safe to use while driving. Looks great and functions even better. Makes my car feel like a new car!
