I have used a lot of different car entertainment systems over the past 10 years, but none have been as feature rich as this one.Starting off, if you're not comfortable doing a bit of splicing and crimping, this may not be the unit for you as there is no custom harness specific to each vehicle. You will need to make sure some of the wires are spliced according to the features in your car. With that said, this is like any other universal unit in the fact that it comes with a harness and audio cables, as well as a back up camera for vehicles that don't have one standard.After getting all of the wires and unit mounted, I was pretty impressed with the speed and responsiveness of the touchscreen. 2GB of RAM is sort of at the lower end of device RAM, but the unit was running very well and only has very miniscule lag. The screen is definitely bright, but the viewing angle isn't the greatest. While sitting in the driver or passenger seat, you will notice some light bleed, but sitting middle backseat is crystal clear! At night time though you hardly notice the backlighting and the screen looks really nice.Personally my favourite part is having wireless CarPlay. I have used those dash mount CarPlay units, and they are okay, but having this in the dash with all of the other audio sources, and back up camera is much more enjoyable.Overall the unit has a few little issues that you would expect out of a budget head unit. Although there are a couple little things that could be improved, this one is definitely a good value in my opinion. I would gladly recommend this to friends and family as well!
