This is not my first double-din head unit from Atoto. I am upgrading from an older model, which I have happily had in my car since late 2019. As a brand, I have always been very impressed with the customer service they offer, having had help numerous times previously when trying to set up my original unit. Email replies are always prompt and helpful.I've been using the A5 Lite for just over a week now and have honestly been thoroughly impressed by it. Installation was fairly straightforward, with all the connecting wires you should need included in the box. Including USB cables and a GPS antenna. I'm no auto electrician, but the online instructions helped me to get it up and running within an hour (even with having to remove all of the old head unit and hiding some wires behind the dashboard), as it is pretty much plug and play.Despite being one of Atoto's more budget offerings, it comes packed with so many features that it puts the other major brands to shame when looking within the same price bracket. The Android operating system works seamlessly, feeling nice and fluid with no noticeable lag whatsoever. The screen looks sharp and bright, and I love the clean new interface and ability to be able to customise the layout, etc. I have found the sound quality to be great. I'm no audiophile, but it sounds so much better than the stock stereo that was fitted to my car originally.Upon turning the key, the unit starts up almost immediately, with the wireless CarPlay (or Android Auto) connected and visible all within 20 seconds. The CarPlay has been a game changer for me, and makes my car feel much more modern and really is a joy to use for maps, music and phone calls. Both the built-in Bluetooth and wifi works a treat, no longer having to hide an antenna behind the dash like my old model. This unit doesn't have DAB built in; however, I do have the Atoto receiver already from before. It plugs straight into one of the USB cables and works a treat. I also have a 3rd party canbus adaptor, which I connected to the wiring loom (something the customer service team helped me with), that allows my steering wheel controls to work flawlessly.I honestly don't think you'll find a better-equipped double-din head unit for anywhere near the cost of the A5LG2B7T, especially from any of the well-known car audio brands. If you are concerned about buying a headunit made by a Chinese company, don't be. I can't vouch for any of the other Chinese brands out there, but I can confidently say that Atoto are a serious outfit who offer great aftercare. I've had a few of their products now and have never experienced anything other than quality bits of kit. Highly recommend.

This unit was extremely easy to install, especially if you have installed others before. I was able to use the cables i had put in from a previous atoto installation. This unit is actually a downgrade from my previous stereo, as it does not use a sim card, and it mostly works as a car play system using your connected (wired or wireless) phone. It does however have a few upgrades to my old system. It uses a newer version of android, and it has an input for hdmi. I do not know how i will use this yet, but I assume you could put in a dvd player of sorts with an appropriate app from the store? It also has the new AI system, which apparently has several different characters for diffetent scenarios, such as story telling for the children and a music host for adults it general chat and queries for adults. I haven't had the opportunity to check this out in full yet, but I will update this review after fully experiencing it. Overall, I am happy with the system. It starts up very quickly, and connects to the phone seemingly at an instant. I believe it will be a welcome company during some long drives ahead.

The phone re-paired flawlessly on each vehicle start.Sound quality using the in-built amplifiers was very good, with a nice, clear, and well-balanced sound. Early indications.... "Brilliant" well worth the money, easy to fit and works a treat. Unfortunately I can't get Sky Sports to work but Virgin TV, iPlayer etc stream no bother... all other Android Auto work as you'd expect... would definitely recommend.
