Part 1 Installation Introduction
Step 1 — Connect the Camera
Before installation, identify the four main components: the Head Unit, RCA Extension Cable, Camera Power Cable, and Backup Camera.
1. Connect the Video Cable
Connect one end of the RCA Extension Cable to the Backup Camera’s yellow RCA jack “Y”.
Connect the other end of the RCA Extension Cable to the head unit’s Backup CAM Input ①.
2. Connect the Reverse Trigger Wire
The trigger wires ④ and ⑤ are located at opposite ends of the RCA Extension Cable.
At the head-unit end, connect trigger wire ④ to the head unit’s Rear Camera (+) / Reverse Detect wire ②.
At the camera end, connect trigger wire ⑤ to the positive (+12V) wire of the reverse light.
3. Connect Power to the Camera
Connect the DC power plug on the Camera Power Cable to the Backup Camera’s DC power jack “R”.
Connect power wire ⑥ to the positive (+12V) wire of the reverse light, and connect ground wire ⑦ to vehicle chassis ground (−) ③.
Important: Trigger wire ⑤ and power wire ⑥ must both be connected to the reverse light’s +12V wire.

① Backup CAM Input
② [Pink] Rear Camera (+)
③ [Black] Chassis Ground (−)
④ To the unit reverse detecting wire (Rear camera +)
⑤⑥ To the back-up lamp (+12V)
How It Works:
When the vehicle is shifted into reverse, the reverse light supplies power to the camera through wire ⑥. At the same time, wire ⑤ sends the reverse trigger signal through the RCA Extension Cable to wire ④, allowing the head unit to automatically display the rear-view image.
Step 2 — Route the Cable
Route the camera cable from the head unit to the rear of the vehicle.
Note: Keep the cable away from moving parts, sharp edges, high-temperature areas, and any locations where it may be pinched or damaged.
Step 3 — Install the Camera
Mount the camera on the rear license plate, preferably near the horizontal center of the vehicle. Secure the camera firmly, then adjust the camera angle for a clear rear view.

Part 2 Troubleshooting
1. No camera image
● Check that the camera, wiring harness, and head unit are securely connected. Make sure the head unit is powered on and the correct camera input is selected.
2. Rear camera does not display when shifting into reverse
● Check the reverse trigger connection and the rear camera settings on the head unit.
3. Image flickers or is unstable
● Check for loose connections or damaged cables. Make sure the cable is routed away from sources of electrical interference.
4. Image is blurry or unclear
● Clean the camera lens and make sure it is not blocked by dirt, water, or other objects.
5. Camera view is too high or too low
● Adjust the camera angle until the desired rear viewing area is visible on the head unit.
