Compatibility

The AC-HN9RRV3 Exterior Rear Camera is designed specially for ATOTO V10 series car stereos. Do not attempt to use it with other car stereos to avoid compatibility issues or potential damage.

Installation Warnings 

Vehicle Condition

For safety, always install or connect the receiver while the vehicle is turned off. Installing while the engine is running may cause electrical hazards or safety risks.

Wire Connection

Take extra care when wiring. Ensure that no wires, plugs, or ports are damaged during installation. After inserting each plug into its port, give it a slight twist to confirm secure and complete contact.

Installation Introduction

Install the AC-HN9RRV3 Exterior Rear Camera

Step 1: Confirm the installation position of the camera — at the rear license plate area of the vehicle.

Step 2: After selecting the installation position, install the AC-HN9RRV3 at the rear license plate area of the vehicle.

Step 3: Connect AC-HN9RRV3 to Your Car Stereo

(1)Connect the “C4” terminal of the extension cable to the the “C4” terminal of the AC-HN9RRV3 cable.

(2) Attach the “CM4” terminal of the extension cable to the rear-view “Custom CAM4” terminal on the adapter cable.

(3)Plug the adapter cable into the corresponding port on the rear panel of the car stereo.

(4)Connect the white wire extending from the “H” terminal of the extension cable to the positive (+) terminal of the rear tail light (Reversing Light). and connect the pink wire extending from the “Rear Camera (+)” terminal of the adapter cable to the “Rear Camera (+)” terminal of the power cable to transmit the reverse-gear signal to the Car Stereo.

Step 4: Overall Wiring Route from the Camera to the Car Stereo (for reference only)

The AC-HN9RRV3 Rear Dash Camera requires long-distance wiring from the back of the vehicle to the head unit. The typical routing path is as follows:

(1)Start from the cable coming out of the AC-HN9RRV3 exterior rear camera (marked with the C4 terminal).

(2)Route the cable along the rear interior panels, then through the side floor trim (door-sill trim) and up the C/B/A pillars.

(3)Continue the routing toward the dashboard.

(4)Finally, route the cable into the center console so it can reach the rear panel of the car stereo.

Important Note:

Large Memory Capacity Support: Because the V10 Series Car Stereo supports up to a 256GB memory card and a 2TB external hard drive for video storage(USB1 Recording Storage), it can meet long-term recording storage needs when used together. (The memory card and hard drive are sold separately.)
