The location of steering wheel control needs to be out of the way. This photo shows best position.

The control works great. The ability to change functions is very helpful.The control is only held magnetically. If it catches on your coat sleeve it pops off. I would recommend a #1 or #2 sheet metal screw be added from the back to secure the disk in place. The second picture shows here is enough room to add screw. This would allow the disk to be removed to change battery or re-orient the disk. The disk is semi-permanent and cannot be dislodged. For current users drilling a hole in the holder and adding the screw would prevent the disk from popping off.

Perfect! (almost)

This thing works wonderfully well, installation is straightforward, you do have to access the radio wiring so if you already have it installed you gotta pull it out again. Wish they had have told me that! Three wires, set up the key logging and boom!Now, for what they did not do right. There is no instruction on how to change the battery in the control. They did send a spare battery which is great. By the way the face SLIDES off the back plate, it does NOT pry off. I see from the reviews that some folks have broke the plastic prongs off and I suspect the reason is they pried the back off instead of sliding it off. Wake up ATOTO! Next gripe is the print on the instructions is TOO SMALL to read. Yeah, I am old but my eyes are pretty good, but not good enough.

This one goes with Atoto A6 unit Had to have this little remote have not installed the head unit until I can afford the amplifier that go with it But what I saw on Utube real easy to install once everything is installed I will update my review.
