I have an S20 FE and can get the voice assistant to come up but it will not dial out which is a shame. I know you can download and use other apps on the head unit for this feature but what's the point, you still can't dial out with the steering wheel remote. I have spent hours looking for a solution but haven't found one. Also on the newest version of the remote the back easily falls off. I can't tell you how many times this thing has hit the floor while driving. The solution for me was to drill a tiny hole in the back cover and use a super small screw to latch the back and keep it from sliding off. It did fix the problem but I shouldn't have needed to do this. The newer version definitely works better than the old but Atoto needs to be fix the center "mic" problem on Samsung phones and the sliding back cover.

This wireless remote mounts anywhere, with a strap or magnet mount for any place in your car or truck. It gives you full control over the Atoto head units. Use voice control for Google or Siri voice services as well as opening or closing apps. Raise or lower volume with the knurled outside ring. Control buttons to forward or reverse through tracks, radio stations etc. Pause and mute. I operate my head unit without having to touch it. The arrangement of the buttons makes it easy to operate without having to look at the unit.

My steering wheel on my winnebago only had cruise control. By adding this item I can now answer phone, change radio stations, adjust volume, and access Google assistant, without taking my hands off steering wheel. I can also pass item to passenger to also work control as it attaches to strap on steering wheel with magnet. This device is extremely easy to use to control radio and increases driver safety by keeping hands on the wheel. Love it.

I used mounted this on the steering wheel of my Jeep and was surprised how much I liked the volume wheel. It is so easy to crank up the volume and back with out moving my eyes off the road. I didn't use the strap/watchband as I found it getting in the way and inadvertently pressing buttons.

I purchased 2 of these in addition to my 2 AToto stereo purchases for 2 older cars. Both of them didn't have any existing steering wheel control, so this was a welcomed addition. Honestly, these remote units were the final reason why I even went with ATOTO overall. These are literally plug and play and don't need any setup (unlike other units, that 'expect' a prewired control unit). The exterior rotating volume dial is pure genius and is super responsive. I also love that you don't have to use the "watch band" style mount (although *I* do) and you can simply stick the dial anywhere. The only *slight* knock on this is that the glow in the dark buttons look pretty cheesy against, say, a nice sports car interior, so if they were just black with white lettering, I would take that any day. A quick tip, make sure to FULLY insert the receiver unit's plug in the back of the stereo...I didn't do this and I fiddled for a WHILE until i figured out i just needed to push the plug ALL THE WAY in. It's only been a month or so, so I don't have any comment on the battery. It does come with 2 of them, btw.
