After using this box for a while, the overall experience is quite stable. Wireless CarPlay does have a slight delay, but it does not affect daily navigation and song switching. The most convenient thing is that it automatically connects when you get on the bus, so you don’t have to plug in the line, which saves a lot of trouble during the morning rush hour. The HDMI interface is a plus. I tried connecting it to Fire TV and the picture came out, but the screen of the car is too small and I need to study the settings again. The function is far from perfect, but it is stable and hassle-free, making it safe for daily use.

The last time the family drove for eight hours, the child quickly became unable to sit still in the back seat. This adapter with HDMI really came in handy. As soon as I connected the old DVD player I found at home, the movie immediately appeared on the large central control screen. The children watch animations quietly, and we in the front seat can still use wireless CarPlay to navigate and listen to music normally. New and old devices work seamlessly, making the journey much easier.

This dongle is fantastic. I purchased it to use on an old F250 that I installed a cheap power acoustic Android Auto / Carplay head unit. I've had trouble with that headunit not supplying enough power for other wireless adapters, but it had no problem powering this one.This adapter has a usb-c port that's the interface to the head unit. This allows it to be located out of the way and ensures it doesn't block your view of the screen by sticking out of the head unit directly. There is a short USB-A to USB-C cable included or you can use your own longer cable. On the other side of the cable is is an HDMI input port.When you plug this in and click on the Carplay icon, it brings up a selection screen that lets you either use carplay or HDMI. Clicking Carplay gives you the standard wireless experience. It seems to work well and I was able to pair my phone with the adapter easily. I didn't notice any significant lag but it doesn't really bother me using the Carplay UI so ymmv.The really standout feature is the HDMI input. If you plug in an HDMI device and select that input, that video source will be displayed on the screen. I tried it out with my PS Classic mini and the video looked great. In this case, I did notice some pretty significant latency, so I would say this is likely better for viewing videos than it is for playing video games, at least if they're not tolerant to latency. Audio quality was also good, so overall just an excellent option for displaying video on any wired Carplay compatible headunit.

I ordered this CarPlay adapter over others because it had a HDMI input. It is a nice addition to have the option to play movies, games, etc.This adapter appears to be solid; well built with good materials. It was fairly straightforward to install it. Everything you need is included in the package.I love that it boots up quickly. Other adapters that I’ve owned in the past took forever to load. I think that this is a good CarPlay adapter with a HDMI input. I believe that this is a good value.
