We needed to replace a carplay unit we got a while back. The screen finally went and we weren't too concerned about getting another one with a screen. We like to listen to music and hear directions, and this unit seemed to fit the bill. I had to get an adapter for our car (usb -> audio) but that was easy (and had one laying around!). Once we got it set up and installed, everything works out of the box. We don't experience disconnects and the unit is very small and easy to hide away. Overall this is definitely worth the money to us, and for the value, is worth the buy for others in a similar situation

So easy to setup, this dongle turns upgrades an older car with wireless carplay. Plug the adapter into the USB and pair to a phone via bluetooth and it will automatically remember the phone every time you get in the car. You no longer have to worry about cables, getting your phone out of a bag to use the nav system just get in and go.

I'm using this with an Android Samsung phone. I had to scan a QR code to get the instruction manual, but after I did, this adapter installed like magic. It includes both USB-A and USB-C cables. The device is an odd triangular shape and about half and inch thick, so mounting it after installing is going to be necessary. It initially connects to your phone via bluetooth, but then automatically sets up a local area wifi network for wireless Android auto connectivity. Now, all of my apps, maps, messaging, and music works on my car without a cable.

I just installed a Jensen stereo in my 2007 Jetta with wired CarPlay and added this for wireless. It was a simple plug in install. Connecting the the device was painless and has provided a good wireless solution. Almost as soon as my radio fully boots up my iPhone is connected without any interaction. Works very well.

Works great and super easy to use. Love not dealing with cords anymore! Only issue is the sound sometimes cuts in and out, but overall it’s worth it.
