For its price this is a very great headunit.Instructions are very limited, but it’s fairly easy how to intuit what to do. The wires are labeled which is very helpful. The unit itself is okay. There’s about a 400ms delay with clicks on the touchscreen. Audio is pretty flat but the eq helps a lot; audio itself is clear and crisp. The display looks and seems high quality, it gets bright and it’s high res.My one gripe is the carplay and USB. First the usb port comes from the back, which makes installation a little annoying because you have to route to wire. The carplay does not work with USB, but it does charge. Maybe it’s my cable, but I’ve tried three already. Bluetooth carplay works fine. There’s some latency with it, but it’s bearable. Connection with bluetooth is about <5 seconds of starting the car.Honestly for the price, this unit is amazing

I bought this to replace the ATOTO that was 100% touch, no buttons. I realized after installing, there is was no SD card slot, no extra USB port, both allowing for extra ways to listen to your music, and if you're big into music like i am... you really do want the radio with the buttons since it has the SD slot, USB slot, etc. So i bought this one, and I'm a lot happier!The install was very straight forward. The color coding of their supplied wiring harness matched my 2004 Pontiac Vibe, perfectly. I spent about an hour removing the Sony radio i had in there and putting in the harness for this radio. very straight forward. I'm very happy.I like too that i can put in a rear (or front) camera if i want.The sound quality is OK. It's not as good as the Sony. There is no LOUDNESS button/option. There is no EXTRA BASE 1, 2 or 3 button/option. Changing the equalizer from rock to pop to custom, etc... it's several buttons, vs 1 touch stop. So that could be better too. Because of these things... music is a bit "tinny". That's how i put it.But i like the radio a lot. I think it's great value for the money. If they can add Loudness and Extra Base in a firmware update... this can become a GREAT RADIO.Increasing the power a hair, would also be nice. Say... 40W/channel vs. 25. This radio is so amazingly small... there is plenty of room for ATOTO to add just a little extra power!I also love the wireless Android Auto. I have a high end Kenwood in my other car and it requires me to plug in. But this ATOTO... 100% wireless. I LOVE IT! I can use google maps, waze or whatever i want. I can also use my other streaming apps... Audacy, Audible, Amazon/Google Music and a lot more. I can even get the weather.It also has Hands Free for making calls.I have not tried switching apps or options via voice like switching stations on the radio, or switching from radio to USB for music, etc. So i can't comment on that. I'm hopeful.One thing ATOTO could do better... explaining how to update their firmware. I simply cannot figure out how to update the firmware. I emailed support but didn't hear back. blah.I would buy this again. For sure. My son is looking for a decent radio for his car... and i would get this for sure. His car is even older than mine, his is a 2002 Buick Century... but unlike my car, his has steering wheel controls, and this ATOTO has wires in the supplied wiring harness for steering wheels functions. So even that's covered with this radio.

Customer service is very responsive. Had questions regarding wireless CarPlay and got immediate answer. Touch screen very responsible and easy to navigate options. Very happy with purchase

Easy to install this head unit. Great sound quality and ability to tune the sound. I’m using it with an 800w amp for my subs and 2 140w amps for the mids and highs and it’s better than I imagined. Customer Service is great too! Answered my emails within a day and gave me everything I needed to fix my problem (my phone settings were wrong, but they told me some ways to diagnose/fix the issue.) 100% recommend this unit!

I've had this radio for over a year now. I've actually had it warrantied (and in the months since, have discovered why the original died.) I will review both the radio and the warranty process:RADIOPros:1- Display clarity is excellent, and screen ranges from extremely bright to perfect for a midnight drive (day and night modes are adjustable.)2- No sound issues. I'm not an audiophile, but maybe moreso than an average person, and I've noticed no problems here.3- Sturdy heatsink. The entire radio is housed in an aluminum heatsink, which helps prevent overheating quite effectively.4- Per phone profile support. My wife and I can have different setups controlled by whoever plugs in (or whoever has bluetooth on.)Cons:1- No knobs. While you can tap a volume button and then "drag" the bottom of the screen to get a specific volume, I find myself looking down to find the volume buttons. I wish I'd picked a model with a volume knob. No accidents have resulted from this, but I'm a defensive driver, so I don't adjust the volume when anyone's close at speed to begin with.2- Bottom of screen is hard to touch. The plastic moulding around the screen makes it quite difficult to tap anything near the bottom of the screen. It takes getting used to, as I have to hook my fingers around the housing.Mixed:1- Overly long "auto link" cable. While this is good for large vehicles where you want to mount it far from the unit, it makes the choice of extension cables slim, because Auto link doesn't play well with cables over a certain length. I have yet to find a single cable of 6 feet (which is sadly about the only size anyone but specialty shops sell) that works with this radio. I have to go out of my way to find 3 foot cables, which are not very common.2- Over-voltage protection for USB devices. This sounds like a good thing, but once it triggers.. You can't use a USB device until you turn the car off. And it will trigger if you plug a device in halfway and then unplug it again. Had this happen due to vibrations on a road trip, and lost my GPS until I could find a place to stop and restart the vehicle entirely.WARRANTY:Pros:1- Warranty is based on the date of contact (as long as you maintain consistent comunication.) My warranty was due to expire 2 days after contacting them, and it took 4 days to go over the diagnostic information. So by the time they'd confirmed the radio had failed (and that it wasn't a vehicle failure) I was 2 days past my warranty: They still respected the original contact date and sent me a new one.2- They sent the entire package. Not just the head unit I'd returned to them, but all cables, mounting brackets, wires, manuals and packaging that the original contained. This was unexpected, but showed a commitment to service.3- They respond at the same time everyday to any emails sent to them. Makes it easy to correspond one email per day without hassle, knowing exactly when you'llm get a response after the first.Cons:1- It took 4 days to convince them of the diagnostic tests I'd performed due to minor miscommunications. If you're in a hurry, it's a slight downside. But overall, 4 days for a warranty is rather quick.Mixed:1- I got the warranty in 8 days from the date they received the one I sent it. Since it's a warranty, slower shipping is expected, and this is actually quite fast compared to most. However, they said they'd tell me when they got the radio and were sending a replacement: They never did. I had to contact them to ask after waiting a week after the shipment had been listed as being received. Left me somewhat annoyed during the process, but relieved when I received the replacement before they had time to even respond saying it was on its' way.CAUSE OF FAILURE:This is a mixed bag. The radio died due to excessive amperage, however the in-built fuse did not protect it, nor did any fuse or relay in the vehicle.My wife had a hard braking event to avoid an accident that occured in front of her, and as a result, the factory battery tie down snapped (it was a composite, not metal), causing the battery to rock forwards during the sudden deceleration. What I'd missed until a month later is that a single quick disconnect terminal had pulled loose from the fuse block on the battery, without fully disconnecting: This 60Amp line fed the entire cabin interior, from the dash cluster to the radio and other cabin systems. My educated guess is that when the loosening occured, a spark of higher than normal amperage was created. The reason I didn't notice sooner is that until I went to remove all the cabling, I had no reason to pry open the tightly enclosed plastic housing on the fuse block to notice that single wire could be "wiggled" while the others were snug. The likely cause of this is simple: It's the one cable with the least physical slack, so it literally got stretched taut.So while this doesn't sound like it's the radio's fault.. No fuses were blown, and no relays failed. Not the 60Amp fuse on the battery fuse b...
