Had to research with axxess tech support and you tube videos and atoto customer support to obtain steering control. I first they said I needed ascw1 interface but I had a splice directly to wires pertaining to steering wheel control on harness and it worked and I programmed each button with- in radio setup.

For the price this thing is great. The installation is a little awkward but it works great. Isntalled in 2008 Dodge Nitro.

At the time of purchasing, this product didn't have any reviews so it felt like a little risky buying it. However, ATOTO products had a lot of positive reviews across their other lines and I figured the main difference with this unit was the wireless Carplay/Android Auto.I can report that the wireless connection works great. It automatically connects to Android Auto every time I log in. This takes about 10-15 seconds, which is a little faster than my wife's BMW with wireless Carplay from the factory. So far, I haven't had any issues with it disconnecting or any bugs/resets.I will update this review in 6 months/1 year to address any complaints with the head unit interface/connections.As for the install, this went into a 2008 4Runner with JBL/non-nav. I bought two items -- a Metra TYTO harness which is necessary if you want to retain factory amp/subs. In order to retain the factory steering wheel controls, you will either need to A) cut out the factory 20-pin Toyota harness with 6 SWC/AUX wires and splice those into the ATOTO harness or B) buy a $9 Metra 70-8114 harness which connects into the Toyota SWC harness (the white end). You will then cut the black molex connector from the Metra 70-8114 off, and splice THOSE wires into the ATOTO harness. I definitely recommend option B so that you don't have to cut the factory Toyota harness for splicing. Well worth $9 in my opinion.And just to reiterate, you do NOT need to buy the $110+ PAC or iDatalink harnesses in order to retain steering wheel controls. This ATOTO unit and many of the Chinese Android headunits have wires in the ATOTO harness that will splice into all Toyota cars from the 2000s (assuming they have the factory SWC).

This’s radio is an awesome radio especially for the price. I have installed quite a few radios in various cars and this was one of the easiest. I love the big screen and the look it gives the inside of my truck. I use android auto all the time so one of the reasons I chose this radio when I was looking around is because it has wireless android auto and CarPlay a and I have to say it does not disappoint. I just connected the Bluetooth and away it went. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a big screen radio.

A little tricky to install compared to normal size double din but once you get it figured out it's pretty nice. User friendly and sounds decent.Was getting a loud pop from my amplifier when the head unit turns out but I fixed that by connecting my amps remote wire to the red ACC wire instead of the blue remote turn on. I'm happy with the unit so far.Gave it 4 stars because the navigation never seems to be able to find a connection. It starts off great but never moves while saying searching for satellite. Other than that no other problems so far.
