I am not a review writer but I couldn't help myself with this one! I bought this to upgrade my wife's original crappy Bose system in her 2012 Miata. I was sooo close to bypassing factory amps and getting new speakers but decided to save money and time I would try just head unit first. This unit has preamp connections and a powerful built in internal amp so I had option to try with original factory Bose amp and speakers first and if I didn't like could power new speakers from unit.......really nice to have that choice. I am sooo glad I decided to give it a try first, wow this unit really woke up my Bose system! The amount of control for audio is endless, standard base treble fader balance OR equalizer, sub, separate gains and adjustments front and rear side to side for each channel and speaker and separate timing for them as well, I can't tell you how impressed I was for that type of control that can make just about any amp/speaker combination sound exactly the way you want it. I feel like I got new amp and speakers too!!! I just got this unit so I haven't even begun to realize all it can do but im so impressed so far. I paired mine and my wife's phones effortlessly and it connects to CarPlay wirelessly right away. My Waze map is up right away and pandora, Sirius, Spotify, Apple Music etc is on the ready!!! You can tell it what default you want up at startup. AND my favorite thing is I didn't have to buy a convertor for my steering controls to work, there is two steering key wires and you program what each signal sends through the unit. There is lots of preloaded apps like torque that you can monitor everything in real time that is going on with your engine, anything that you can see through your OBD. I don't know how to use it yet but that is supercool. I know there is other apps you can get as well. You can also access AI Atoto drive chat, google assist and iPhone Siri by voice or button. Another favorite feature is it comes with a dual noise cancelling microphone, I had my wife call me with the top down at highway speeds and I could hear her fine, I actually couldnt believe that. I also love that I can have different volumes at same time so when nav speaks directions, or phone rings it doesn't come through same blaring volume as the music playing.....that is huge. I haven't even scratched the surface of all the things this unit can do, I can't even think of anything it can't do. The things I have mentioned are just my favorites. This unit is for sure beyond my expectations. I was very reluctant to buy a brand im not familiar with but a Kenwood, pioneer, alpine etc with not even all these features is over $1000 and doesn't even come close. Let me be clear.........this is not a cheap knockoff, you will be amazed just as I was. Check out all its features, you will be blown away.

I have had this receiver for a week now so let’s get started.What’s in the box:Head unit of course.Wiring harness to attach to your vehicle specific adapter or to splice directly.Another harness which includes the SIM slot, subwoofer, amplifier signal, front and rear speaker RCA connections and a composite video connection.A USB port harness for DVR or external storageA dual USB port for general use.A GPS antenna.A WiFi/4G antenna.A backup camera harness which includes parking brake and auxiliary Bluetooth and WiFi leads.A harness to hook up an optional dash camera and in car camera as well.There is a SIM card which includes a trial cellular plan with 10GB of data for 10 days.A generic mounting bracket.A bezel ring.Two screen protectors.A noise canceling microphone.A quick start guide and a QR code to view the user manual.Set up:Install was fairly simple as I have already done most of what is required to my truck previously so it was a matter of moving the mounting brackets from my old unit and wiring up my vehicle specific harness. If you are starting fresh you will have more of a task ahead of you. For my 99 Superduty for instance, I had to do some slight modification to the double din slot in my dash in order for it to fit correctly. Things can seem a bit overwhelming due to the number of harnesses and connections included. Keep in mind that you do not have to install every harness depending on your needs. For instance I left off the GPS antenna (required for on board Google Maps and current speed monitor) and dash camera connections as I already have one installed as a stand alone system. A positive is that this unit is very shallow which provides plenty of space behind it for the numerous connections.Thoughts:So far I believe this is a good value, it is difficult to find something else that will give you the same amount of features at this price point. Essentially this is an Android tablet that mounts within your dash. It comes pre-loaded with a number of apps, which include Zlink (Apple Car Play/ Android Auto), Google Maps, a music player, video player and Torque which will pair with a Bluetooth OSBII reader to display various vehicle values as well as view/clear trouble codes, (check engine light). The Google Play Store is also there to manage and update your apps as well as search for new ones. The unit has 64GB of on-board storage. It has native apps as well such as the AM/FM receiver and necessities like settings and audio controls.I have owned another Atoto (A6) head unit prior to this one and this is a considerable upgrade. The screen is bright and clear with a nice resolution of 1280x720. The touch interface is pretty responsive however it comes out of the box with an annoying beep tone that sounds with every touch action. Luckily this can be turned off in settings. You can also customize the color of the touch buttons along the left side of the unit.The audio quality is much improved over my previous model. Music sounds well rounded with high fidelity which was lacking on the A6. It has a strong on-board amp providing 24 watts RMS for loud clear sound. I personally enjoy the “standard” preset on the full equalizer with high ELL and 3D audio toggled on. There are several other presets like Jazz, Rock, Pop, etc. Or you can fully customize it to your liking. You can also adjust timing from individual speakers to give the driver the best possible music experience.You have the ability to add your own dash, interior and rear cameras to the unit and even have the ability to record them to an external drive. The Reverse camera has its own settings for customization as well. If I did not already have a full front/rear dash camera system I would definitely look into this feature further.I did not activate the Nano SIM card that was included as I have no intention of procuring a data plan just for this unit. Therefore I cannot attest to the function of which. I was however easily able to connect to my phone via hot spot to download app updates and check for software updates to the A7 unit itself. OTA update ability is also a big improvement over the A6 which required using a flash drive.Wireless CarPlay has been working great which is the feature I was most excited about. Once you pair your phone via Bluetooth, it is simply a matter of selecting the Zlink app. It is slightly delayed but only really noticeable when starting and stopping music. Otherwise everything functions as it should. I imagine Android Auto will work just as well. One thing to note. Should you want to go back to the Home Screen, swipe down from the top left corner to reveal some icons along the top edge. Press the “circle” to go to the Home Screen, press the “square” to show the open app list, swipe these up in order to close them just like your phone.The Home Screen of the unit is fairly straight forward and offers some customization, (albeit a bit clunky) of the app short cuts and wallpaper. The ATOTOZONE A7 Android 7" QLED Double Din Car Stereo installed seamlessly in my 2001 Ford E-150. I preciously had the A6 installed. To my surprise the wiring of the A6 worked perfectly with the A7. I had a short amount of time to get the stereo installed for a product review so I didn't want to waste the time to rewire the stereo with the same wiring harness. There are only a couple of wires that I need to swap out due to the connection being slightly different or the A7 has an improved feature.The price of the unit is adaquate for the features of the unit. I originally purchased the A6 for around $200 in 2023.The touch features work smoothly. The beeping does annoy me so I will find a way to turn that off.The displays is clear and bright. I need more time to test the glare and the visibly once the screen protector is installed. I want to make sure fingerprints don't interrupt seeing the images on the screen.The size of the unit is slightly smaller than the A6 width wise. I was able to get the unit to stay without falling out. it's much lighter than the A6.The stereo sounds amazing in my van. I'm not sure if it's because of the A7 or the speakers themself. I have the original speakers.The installed apps are good. I do like that when I connect my phone to Bluetooth I can see the apps on my phone.- 10/10 Easy Install- 10/10 Value- 9/10 Easy of Use

Upgraded from the Atoto F7. This stereo has it all. Running on Android with SIM card abilities, I was able to connect to wireless Android. There is also a section to screen mirror and connect to Apple. This stereo boots up nearly instantly with no lag. Auto connects to my phone and that's it. I also love the Torque ODB2 feature. I can pull codes and watch vehicle metrics without stopping my navigation or music. This was also able to tie into my existing dashcam via wifi and the rear backup camera out of the box. With it being an Android OS, I was able to update and install other applications directly from Google Play that I wanted on my stereo. (This is awesome because Android Auto has limitations). There was also fast shipping. I live in a rural area and it still got here within one day. I highly recommend this stereo for anyone that wants full functionality without the limitations a typical stock stereo would have. An all-in-one device that installs with a factory look. There is also plenty of room behind the stereo for all the wiring and any other accessories you might want. The microphone upgrade is also exactly what i needed. I've had issues in the past with echo's and robotic sounds reported from callers, but this seems to correct all of that. I highly recommend this and will be getting a second for my other vehicle.

I really like this stereo. Android auto works flawless, the audio is much louder than my last stero. It may take a little bit to get used to the UI, but it's pretty intuitive.Allow some time to install the radio if you want to use the GPS antenna and external microphone.
