Installed this android based stereo into my Ram Promaster Van. It is vastly superior to anything factory. The screen is bright and the added functionality of a backup camera (that auto-turns on when in reverse) is a must have. The stock speakers instantly sound better from the extra power.I appreciate the physical buttons on this unit, as it allows easy access to the most commonly used items like volume controls and home screen. This makes it great for the passenger to be able to reach and control as well as the driver. It is worth noting that this is not exactly plug and play replacement in my model vehicle, as you need to leverage something like the Maestro companion hardware to make it continue to work with the factory steering wheel controls and computers built into the van. I will say it is worth the extra expense and slight cabling work to have this functionality. After the full install i retained my swc - steering wheel controls, and programmable to work as i want, including launching the CHAT/Ai on the unit. Having modern comforts on an older vehicle is very nice. Arguably more functions and features then any current factory units.Now for the reason it's not 5 stars - The screen is bright, vibrant and great resolution, but my one complaint is that is it very shiny/reflective. Maybe a matte screen protector may take it down a notch, but it currently does reflect a lot of in-cabin items onto it when in full sun. Secondly, the interface and android layout and controls are great, but a little laggy at times. It's not a deal breaker and I am still fully able to launch and use all the apps i want, but it is not as "snappy" as a high-powered phone may be. The things you do every day like using the radio and maps are good.

Overall great features and good value. Rear camera came with plenty of cable and was eazy to install. I do wish that camera had a better "locking" mechanism to keep if from changing positions after install. I've had to readjust a few times when it gets bumped or jarred. I'm considering adding a drop of superglue to hold it in place. The other issue is with the software. During navigation using car play or android auto the screen will go blank after about 5 minutes which then requires someone to hit the home button to see the navigation again. This makes a it not so hands free. Researching the issue I did find a reddit post that provides a link to a software patch and configuration setting but this seems like a very bad miss by their QA team. The reason I still gave it 4 stars instead of 2 or 3 is that it does provide resistive SWC input which often requires an additional adapter. This connected to my steering wheel controls very easily and then I just program what functions I want triggered when each control is activate.

The advertisements were a little overboard. there is no built in GPS. The screen panel is clearly the lowest LCD quality you can get. Other than that if you are looking for a cheap android radio then this is it.Comes with a variety of hardware so if you know what you are doing you will be fine.

I’ve heard of Atoto years ago, really great quality to me. One of my buddies had one of these radios, and he used to have his truck bumping. Also included a back up camera, which is very clear. The Bluetooth connects really well and you can change the different themes on it. I also use Apple CarPlay, which is my favorite because it supports my device during hands-free driving
