V10 is a Perfect Fit for a Subaru Outback- Fast OS and 9" QLED Screen

I drive a 2012 Subaru Outback 3.6R Limited with the stock Harmon Kardon sound system without navigation. I put an Atoto 7" A6 PF in a few years ago and enjoyed it, so I recently upgraded to this Atoto V10 9" unit for a bigger screen and more RAM to support a faster OS.For the install, the installation manual was clear on the wiring, and I was successfully able to connect the V10 using the Metra harness I used with the previous A6. The head unit can connect to the stock HK amplifier rather than directly to the speakers, and I was able to connect the factory steering wheel controls and my Atoto backup camera to the V10. The main difference in the wiring install is that the V10 uses dual mics on the head unit instead of connecting to the factory mic; this has been working well for hands-free phone calls. And with the 9” screen, the head unit fits in the same double DIN opening and looks great in the space. I’ve attached photos of the packaging, install, and usage.For usage, I have had the V10 installed for a couple of weeks now. As soon as I turn the car on, Android Auto immediately connects to my phone, Spotify begins playing, and Google Maps pops up on the screen. I can tell a big speed increase with the 6 GB of RAM. I use Android Auto or hotspot from my phone, but the unit also has a built-in 4G LTE module, so you can use a SIM card for internet if you prefer. The backup camera works great; I like having the larger screen. The audio equalizer works very well with the built-in DSP and my JBL speakers; the sound is crisper than previously.I would highly recommend the head unit. I was concerned about the fit with the double DIN in my Subaru with a slanted dash, but the install was easy, and the larger screen looks great. The Android 14 operating system is fast with 6 GB RAM, the 9" QLED screen has good resolution and increased brightness compared to older units, and the touchscreen works as expected. My existing Atoto backup camera is compatible with it and works well. I may upgrade cameras in the future, as it states it can connect to multiple and do split screen. Also, upgrading the OS is done over Wi-Fi now, which is easier than doing an OS upgrade via USB drive.
