  • 1080P Video Recording. The AC-44P2 On dash camera records video by itself, and the ATOTO Android Car stereo acts as the operation interface - It does not require store space from Android car stereo, as itself has Micro SD slot. It has specified app "DVR CAM" for operation management

  • Micro SD storage card is not included, and It can read up to 64GB card. Compatible with Selected ATOTO Car Android Stereo models (ATOTO A5, A6, S8, P9 Series). NOT compatible with F7, P5 ,P8 and X10 series. NOT Compatible with head units from other brands.

  • The camera has Auto Recording option,and is enabled by default. As long as it is powered by Android car stereo via USB, it will start recording automatically when you start the engine. Even if "DVR CAM" app is not running, the automatic recording function will not be affected or interrupted.

  • Important video can be locked,avoid being deleted by recurring recording. You can click "take photo" button to let the camera take a picture. In addition, this camera has microphone inside and allows users to disable it if necessary.

  • Easy to view recording files via a larger HD touchscreen anytime, better than dash cameras that has small screen and difficult buttons operations. Great DashCam if you have the ATOTO head unit.

All functions are accessible from the head unit. The picture is clear and apart from running the cable around the windshield trim, it is plug-and-play with the software already installed on the ATOTO deck (S8 Ultra in my case) and the USB input supplied with the head. Much simpler to install than any other DashCam that I've installed.The only glitch: I purchased an SDXC card that is formatted to exFAT. The camera needs a card formatted to FAT32. I had to find a different card since my computer wouldn't format the SDXC card to FAT32.

Great Addition to the S8 Premium

I won't provide a long review as I just gave a very detailed review for the actual head unit (S8 Premium) but this Dash Cam is great. 1080p quality combined with the pre-installed app makes this a great and pretty cheap addition to the S8 Premium. You can view the camera as you drive and playback all recorded videos from the DVR app pre-installed. It connects via USB to the USB device cable that is plugged into the S8 and if you have any concerns or questions, ATOTO support is great to answer them (thank you Karina!)

Clear image quality

Very simple plug and play into my ATOTA S8 head unit.I did have issues getting it to make recodings, it gave me an tf error over and over. It was because I put the SD card into the head unit not the actual camera....my error but the directions are also none existent so I bet others have done this also.Overall works great, image is clear, no complaints at all. Seems well worth the money after 1 week of use
