I'll admit I got this with a slightly different objective in mind - I'm work from home, and it's actually been quite a pain to find something that can be dynamically updated in a manner that is purely wireless. Both for my shift data, and to alert folks when I'm done for the day and can be disturbed.For some contextual info, I tested one of the two apps that the instructions (these, available online via QR code in the quick start leaflet) claim support this LED signage, the [ SwiftStone ] app, Android, LG G8X thinQ.Firstly, in regards to the features as displayed versus what it's capable of:- Animated signage (via pixelart/custom) isn't seemingly possible outside the template library included in the app. Being fair, especially for a driver, they cover a lot of common communication situations, and they are fairly fancy animations. However, given the app even refers to them as animated gifs, I feel like it's a bit of a disappointment that there's no capacity to set your own customized ones that I could locate.I assume it's a best effort conversion of an animated GIF on their part with some custom software, but this is not open to the user to upload/configure outside the templates already provided.You can do plain text + transitions, along with selecting the color; They can also draw their own image (still). However, and perhaps this is just a quirk of saving, but while the drawing *during* can be multiple pixel colours, there's perhaps a glitch in the code or just how it works that will re-align to the last colour used for the whole image. Minimum size for plaintext appears to be 16, which gets "Merry Christ" (Merry Christmas) with no additional spacing, in one page before needing to cycle for the rest, just as a point of reference. I think the colour-going-uniform thing can be escaped by sending, not saving, in the app. It's weird.In terms of hookup and install, I did have a bit of a headache, but that seems possibly related to my phone configuration. It seemed to work fine once I turned my VPN-based adblocker off. The other thing I did that maybe helped is going out of the app, powering off the sign, and then attempting it again. Thereafter, it readily connected and held that connection without protest.They definitely supply you well in regards to the goal for use in an automobile, including cabling for the full install and a surprisingly competent 'ai box' which is basically an offline smart microphone for simple control of the sign, handsfree.Remotely adjustable, a lot of space to work with, and generally simple operation. The build quality feels excellent, and unless you mistreat it, I think you'd be quite pleased! This is almost certainly great for the uber and taxicab types among you, as a way to advertise and potentially signal other concerns. Ie, 'Emergency Stop' or other such things. For me, it'll keep people from knocking because they can't read anything that doesn't scream at them, but the utility is definitely varied!-1* for only templated animations being shown without mentioning that's *all* and no means even frame by frame to make your own (note: does not apply to text based ones, just pixel-art styled ones)========================== Overall View: [😊] ==== - 😦🙁😐😊😀 + ==========================Media Used: Photo showing it in action while I was prototyping with it. Overall this is a fun LED display for the car or wall but I'd call it pricy (at current $110 CAD after coupon) for the lack of polish in the app required to use it. If you spent a while deciphering how to use the app, this could be a lot cooler.Requires installing an app directly from their website or an alternate version in the play store. Both links are available at the website in the QR code in the manual.Easy to setup over Bluetooth but the app is a bit confusing. The app desperately needs a manual or directions. Don't give up, once you play with the app for a bit, you can figure out how to get custom text onto it with simple built in animations. There is double sided adhesive tape that you can use to mount the voice adapter.This display has a few different uses and you may find that it can be helpful for your business, either as a type of dynamic signage or as a manner of presenting advertising and promotion.

I like the fact you can use the ai voice commands and change the sign options commands also you need an bluetooth app to control it its customizable bright and clear visability is nice either day or night a perfect way to message others other drivers as well, this sign is well made but comes rolled up and you need to get the app to make everything work properly but it's really neat still i enjoy fooling around making this work so if your a big kid like me that check this sign out just don't forget to download the 3rd party app to make everything work Cheers.

The light is bright, and people can see it clearly.I love that the app makes messages fun and allows me to create whatever I want.This LED sign is well-made and seems durable. It is great to see the animations, texts, and available various patterns. Overall, this LED sign is fun.
